  1. That is so much nicer than the other version. I hate that the hose is on the side of mine, a slight breeze basically knocks it out of the holder.
  2. The shelving unit arrived today, didn't realize it had the option of casters or leveling feet, so that was a nice surprise. Made the mistake of assembling it in the living room and then having to figure out how to get it through a door way. Luckily popping the top shelf off let me tilt it enough to fit. I'll post a photo over on Instagram once I get it loaded up. It's really good quality and I like how simple it is to adjust shelf height. Feels nice and sturdy once you get a couple of shelves on it and rock solid once they all are on. One thing that would make it nicer would be if there were numbers stamped into the inch increments so it's easier to make sure you have all four clips on the same level.
  3. Table is looking really nice. A gaming table is on my “to build one day” list when I actually have room for one. How’s that Milescraft AccuDrillMate working for you? I thought about getting one but then read some reviews that left me reconsidering whether it was worth the money.
  4. Since I’m giving away my M12 tools and all the bits I was looking at getting a set of hex shank drill bits so I can hold off on buying a drill. The Milwaukee set is $80, found a good temporary set of Kobalt drill and Drive bits at Lowes for $15. They’ll do until I decide to buy something better.
  5. Graco Magnum Project Painter Plus is on sale through the 7th. 20% off and free shipping. $175 instead of $219. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Graco-Magnum-Project-Painter-Plus-Paint-Sprayers-257025/204159335
  6. Neat. I knew they made O2 sensors since I installed four of them last year, but didn’t know they invented them.
  7. Sounds like overload protection. Is the battery fuel gauge flashing when it stops?
  8. My two free Flexvolt batteries from the grinder kits deal showed up this morning along with enough TSTAK’s to store every cordless power tool and accessory I currently own.
  9. Looks like their price is normally $65 from that seller, if that's the case I'm sure I will buy more if they are as sturdy as they seem.
  10. Sweet deal, just ordered one. I was looking at $100 for something similar at Lowes without casters.
  11. Barrel Grip Jigsaw if you need one, The OMT looks nice however it's not a quick change Starlock like you would expect. It supports Starlock but requires a hex wrench to change attachments. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to buy it or a Fein, it does have the benefit of being brushless.
  12. After talking with @justinkendall I’m going to actually just give the guy the M12 tools. He’s a commercial electrician who was just starting out, he’s my cousin’s cousin from the other side of her family, and since she’s my tool rep she’s going to get me a deal on a 18 or 20v drill. He’s also getting my insulated Witte screwdrivers since Shop Your Way points paid for them and I’ve used only the Phillips one once.
  13. I have someone who might want to buy my M12 tools, their stuff was recently stolen so I’d like to try and give them a good deal since I have replaced some of the stuff recently with newer tools. I have a brushed M12 drill driver (2407-20), a brushed M12 Impact (2462-20), and a brushed M12 Hackzall (2420-20), plus a charger, three brand new 1.5ah batteries (replaced under warranty), and a contractor bag. What do you all think would be a fair price? I was thinking $150 since the batteries are new. That gives me enough or almost enough money to buy a replacement drill from Makita, Milwaukee, or Dewalt since it’s the one tool I haven’t replaced. I’d probably throw in a set of impact bits and a set of drill bits if he needs them.
  14. @HiltiWpg thanks for the information, this makes a lot of sense to me and I’m actually now really glad I haven’t used the SDS before now so I can pick up grease. Any suggestions on which grease to use? I see Makita has a hammer bit grease but I’m sure there is probably something cheaper or better to use.
  15. It’s possible. I’ve never used it so I suppose it’s possible that once it got warm enough in the house it could have softened and leaked. It wasn’t very much, just enough to make the case slightly greasy. I’ll have to give it a test this weekend to find out for sure.
  16. I have the 5262-21 corded 1" SDS Plus Rotary Hammer that I bought about 15 months ago. I have never used it because the project I bought it for got put on hold so I could focus on other more important things around the house first. Fast forward 15 months, I open the case up to grab the serial number for inventory purposes, and find oil/grease on the tool exterior and in the case. Wiped it up with a paper towel got the serial number, finished inventory, and now I’m trying to figure out the next step. The majority of my tools are cordless and I’ve never had this happen before so I’m hoping I can get some answers to what are probably stupid simple questions. I would Google them but I always end up with contradicting information. 1. Why would it leak oil? Like I said it’s never been used, it’s stayed flat in the case for 99.999% of the time I’ve owned it, and it stays in the house with most of my smaller tools. 2. What should I do to resolve the leaking? 3. If I should re-oil or grease anything what specific kind of oil/grease do I need. It does have about 4 years left on its warranty so if it would be better to ship it off for Milwaukee to handle that’s fine too. I do prefer to figure out a solution that doesn’t require sending/taking it to a service center because the closest one is 90 minutes away and shipping can be a pain in the ass.
  17. Not that I'm aware of, these are actually from Sunex in exchange for an honest review once I use them. Figured I'd share since they showed up at the same time as the Sawzall and it's not often I can describe a set of something by it's weight.
  18. One-Key Sawzall showed up along with 30.5lbs of Sunex 1/2” Drive SAE impact sockets.
  19. I have both the 2890-20 radio and the 2891-20 M18/M12 speaker. The radio sounds decent, if I'm working in the garage or outside it's nice to have. The M18/M12 speaker has superior sound quality, some people complain about a lack of bass but I haven't found it lacking. I didn't buy either of them, the radio I won in a giveaway and Milwaukee sent me the speaker to review. If I had to actually buy one, I would personally choose the speaker. The convenience it provides by supporting three different power sources (M12, M18, AC) and the sound quality sets it apart from the other options. My phone also doesn't have a auxiliary port so bluetooth is my only way to easily connect to a speaker. I also used to own the 2592-20 M12 speaker and while it was ok, I would say to avoid it unless you really want/need the compact size, both of the other models I've mentioned have better sound quality.
  20. Ordered some TSTAK II's last week from Zoro, got here today and I think I only need one or two more of them with everything else going into deep TSTAK's or TSTAK open totes. A Dewalt 611 with plunge base, two Ryobi router bit sets, Whiteside spiral up cut bit, and a edge guide fits nicely with some extra space for more bits. I was really hoping this would be the case because it does not fit very well in it's bag. I put the other two to good use so I now have an impact wrench with flashlight kit in the car in case of a breakdown and a drill and impact kit for the common projects that people usually want my help with. Also got some more Klein canvas bags for small items and parts.
  21. Depends on if the lawnmower can actually get to the area. If you have a wide, steep ditch for example the mower probably isn't going to easily deal with it.
  22. Ordered a second Flexvolt grinder kit while the free battery deal is still going on, battery is on back order so 7-10 days until it arrives (along with the one for my original grinder kit). Planned on getting a second one anyway but didn't realize the battery deal was expiring at the end of the month.
  23. Why was it marked down already? It just came out.
  24. Milwaukee M18 has 10 by my count, the two bandsaws have different cut capacities so they both count. 3 circ sizes (5-3/8, 6-1/2, 7-1/4), 2 miters (7-1/4, 10), hackzall, Sawzall, and jigsaw. I thought they had more but was thinking of the corded metal cutting circ which I think is 6-1/2.
  25. I've never seen these before, but I wouldn't mind getting two if I ever see them, could be perfect for storing hoses and cables. You might try yard sales and see if anyone is getting rid of them, or posting on Craigslist.
