chrismccabe484
What are some of the best Impact rated driving bits Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
BMack37
I'm a Milwaukee fanboy but stay away from the Milwaukees. Dewalt Maxfit is the best value, Makita Gold is the best overall bit, in my opinion. The Dewalt Flextorque is not very good.
JimboS1ice
Bmack hit it on the head, Maxfits are my go to but I've been using a lot of makita as well, your 2 good ones from HD other than german
Fazzman
I agree Maxfit or the Makita golds are the good easy to find stuff. Dont snub out Wiha and Wera or Felo bits thou.

For what it's worth, the Makita golds are the only bits sold at HD/Lowe's that aren't made in China.
John Glassey
I've been using the Makita golds for sometime and they hold up well. Shame this country can't produce a comparable bit. John, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Apex and Zephyr supposedly make really good bits, I haven't tried them because the minimum order is a little high for testing bits. I think it's $50 minimum order and $8-$10 shipping. I've found some on eBay but haven't bit on any yet.
JimboS1ice
Don't use Bosch spades in your impact, it will destroy the self feeding tip. Jimbo Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Fazzman
I have a few Apex brand bits that are probably 20 years old. We used them in military.

That's a good thing(among many) about the military that can help us, they only use USA tools...so there will always be a supply of surplus USA tools and there will always be a supplier we can get them from. Some on the forum may have Zephyr bits too because I believe they're the OEM for Snap-On

kruton
My go to bits are the Makita golds, but I use Bosch and the newer Milwaukee's too. No complaints really. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

Jimbo Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk I meant to comment in the video but I was distracted by the drill...you should probably contact Bosch over that, they are labeled on the packaging as impact bits. Maybe they'll replace it for you.

Jspeed
Yea I'm a fan of the makita bits as well. Milwaukee is ok but I've broken some here and there. I would go with makita. They have the best bit holder with a strong magnet.
