Hornnumb2
Has anybody had any experience with this yet? I bought it but it says it only works with certain batteries. From what I can gather it has to be one of the low profile or thinner batteries. Not real sure what the difference would be as far as voltage wise? Thanks Michael
JimboS1ice
I want to say it works with 2.0 ah or under batteries... Might be some users that said the 3.0 or 4.0 packs work too but definitely the kit ships with 2.0s, voltage wise there is no change what so ever, "20v" Dewalt batteries are really just 18v. Lithium cells don't have memory drain and don't fade in power like NiCad cells do, it's a much better battery composition and you can achieve higher amp draw with lithium packs, which was speculated to be an issue with higher ah packs on the older xrp tools Jimbo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
DR99
I can't remember what was posted awhile back about the incompatibilities on the adapter. Gatorb a Dewalt employee posted the whole FAQ awhile back .
RickyMcGrath
Do not use adapter with premium batteries (DCB200, DCB204, DCB204BT, DCB205) in 18-Volt compact drills DC970, DC759. Use with DCB201, DCB203, DCB203BT compact batteries
overanalyze
Why not? To many amps for the older tools? Sent from my SM-T310 using Tapatalk
DR99
It's just those 2 drills that can't use high capacity packs, and the nailers that can't use the adapter at all for some reason. Those drills look like the low end Christmas special versions
