Diamond grinder blades for metal

I haven't seen the Milwaukee steelhead ones available anywhere yet, but there's a Ridgid version that looks identical (down to the arbor knockout) from home depot already plus a lenox equivalent on amazon.

Has anyone tried these?

I'm really hopeful that these handle wood ok so you don't have the fire risk of cutting metal flush with wood.

does the blade heat up fast? I wonder how good these are cutting rebar

There is a little video on home depot.com that shwos it cutting through a couple things and it cut through rebar pretty good . They claim that it one rigid metal disc=70 abrasive cutoff discs

were do you get the lenox blade ?

Hey CATERPILLAR, we have these on back order at SlingShot Tools.  But in the interim, check out your local Lowes store.  They just started carrying them as well.  Good luck and hope all is well!
