Should have done the Stanley mount style. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

muddychip
Ugh, I am not digging the battery placement. 👎

Rtorres092382
Like most, I was initially looking at the battery placement and was irritated. But then I thought about it a little more and if you look at the battery on the Stanley and it looks like the front end of the battery sticks up above the natural resting area of your palm because of the vertical placement. Whereas on the Dewalt, since the battery is horizontal, the natural resting area sits above the battery so your wrist isn’t angled up. Just my 2 cents.

Rtorres092382
Looks like he sander is getting into the hands of reviewers. TiA has one, Toolpig has one...I want to know when I can get one. Any idea when we’ll see it in the big box stores?

Jronman
This sander has an excellent brake. Toolpig showed off the brake on this sander. The brake is on the same level of the brakes on Festool ETS EC corded brushless sanders.
TrimmerMatt
I got mine from toolnut.com a couple weeks ago. I think they made a mistake shipping it but I'm not complaining. 2

Tool Boss has a review on it, it looks comfortable and powerful...
D W
I'm interested in one. Until now I've done all sanding with a multitool or by hand. I haven't actually used an orbital sander.
midogrumpy
the orbital sander is now availale in stores as bare tool I picked mine up yesterday @ HD (other vendors are only showing pre-order or avail End ov November) nice, still have to try it out
method
Or you could go hybrid 😁😁 Milwalt, Dewaukee, either way, works a treat! And the dust catcher fits with the 9.0 and adapter as well! Only went this option because Dewalt are so slow to release tools here in Australia.
rcarnes911
I found the sander about a week ago it's nice I really like it so far but big batteries are kind of a pain though Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Could you make it to lunch on a 3.0 slim? thanks
rcarnes911
I have not picked up any of the slims yet mainly been using 2.0 on it and they last about 15 minutes on high speed the bigger batteries make it a pain to handle
Framer joe
The compact 3ah work well.. runtime is what you expect,I have a lot so it's not a problem..on all the cordless sanders the bigger batteries are not ideal... except.festool which of course is the best...but I need jobsite DeWalt cordless so it does the job.
