JoeyBaloney
My (poor-quality) MASTERCRAFT Job-Site Flip-Saw has died. I was hoping to replace it with a DEWALT D27107, D27105 or DW743N, but they’re only available in the UK. MAKITA (LF1000) and ÉLU (TGS 173) FLIP-SAWS are also unavailable in North America. Can anyone tell me WHY Flip-Saws are unavailable here (Canada) when the UK (a much SMALLER population than N.A.) has recognized a demand, a market and offers not ONE but THREE competitive products by different manufacturers ? JakeDewalt
In the USA most would call that a chopsaw or miter saw. Maybe try searching in Canada for Dewalt Mitersaw or Dewalt Chopsaw
framer
unless space is a serious issue for you, why not just buy a seperate miter and table saw?
Jronman
Europe tends to have very different tools options than over here. Kits also tend to be different too. I don't know why we have to have such different tool lineups. You would think companies could sell all their tools everywhere and still make a profit. I know I would prefer some European style tools and I'm sure some European guys may prefer some of the N.A. style tools.
