It won't exactly blow through 2X, but how often are you cutting 2X with a jig saw anyway? I think it was a fine investment Harold. As a bit of trivia, It's the only tool I ever pre-ordered. It also has tool-less blade change and adjustments. I wouldn't take $500 for mine if I couldn't get another one. It's a awesome little saw. Conductor would be a lot better for a tool tour but maybe I can do something. So far it's everything Conductor says it is.
