kanxrus
That's not the case. The batteries are a lower price, because it's a different battery chemistry. Also, batteries no longer have the complicated electronic's in them. 90% of the electronics are inside the 20v max tools.
midogrumpy
hi seems a "sub-thread" was started with original questions lost can we get back to my original question: more important are the 4-5 new range tools still to maybe come 2011 shown in grey color box on their web site; ==>> ? slide on battery grinder (similar form as dc411) slide on battery jig saw new radio/charger for slide on batteries impact driver ; 1/2" one tool in the picture is very unclear to me ! ...any idea??? => hence, does anyone have some rumors, or potential model-number, or release date before x-mas ? iseebird
Anyone know if Dewalts going to come out with a 20v Max cordless nailer???
kanxrus
I think it's a safe bet to say that the 20v max line will grow to the same size, or larger than the current 18v line. Dewalt will most likely launch the most popular tools first, then follow up the line with the specialty tools.

Mr. Yellow
I asked the DeWALT rep in my country. Seems like the new cordless nailers will come in 2013... Hopefully sooner though!
