walterkurtz Posted December 19, 2012 Report Share Posted December 19, 2012 Hey guys, just picked one up and when powered up and dialed down, the laser head spins "notchy" as in it kinda starts and slows down then speeds up again. When at max speed, there is a rubbing noise. Not sure if this is normal or if it is supposed to spin smooth, even at low speeds. Please let me know if anyone has had any experience with this. Thanks! kjones Posted January 2, 2013 Report Share Posted January 2, 2013 I have the 079, and the only similar thing that I can speak to is when it is self leveling, it will spin "jumpy" while it levels.
