astroboy Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 I promised myself that I wouldn't get it until I sold my guitar amp. Anyway the other night I finally sold it. I was telling the wife that I was heading in to pick it up in the morning. That's when she pulled it out of the closet. Apparently she got it for my upcoming birthday.Anyway, nice radio. Not as big, heavy or as loud as I had hoped. But sound quality is amazing. I got exactly 50 feet away before the Bluetooth started clipping but everything worked great. And it came with a free battery! 1 Quote
Javier Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 That's awesome bro. You got what you've been wanting and still have the cash left over from the amp. Win win. I'm still waiting impatiently for a m12 bluetooth radio if they ever make one Quote
frankiegarcia19 Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 Thats a good women..nice..i want one for the garage. Bluetooth a giant plus Quote
Conductor562 Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 So you sold your amp, didn't use the money......now you can buy more tools. 2 Quote
DR99 Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 I love the radio the 2 things Milwaukee messed up on was not including some outlets on it, and the biggest thing is it charges batteries but doesn't support M!2 batteries now. I don't know who they did the focus group with on that one. Quote
astroboy Posted March 23, 2014 Author Report Posted March 23, 2014 I know it sounds dumb but I wish there was a headphone output. The receiver is much better than the one in my shop and I'd love to send the sound to all my other speakers, even if I send it though my amp Quote
Taylors Tools Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 I really want the new radio at work we have a couple of the older version and its such a pain that the older radio doesn't charge batteries. Quote
astroboy Posted March 26, 2014 Author Report Posted March 26, 2014 They really did miss the boat here regarding the 12v batteries. The m12 line is getting more popular (i'm knowing more and more dudes sticking with 12. It doesn't have the stigma it once did) and they basically limited themselves in sales here. Quote
Conductor562 Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 I agree. Multi-volt capability would have been a big plus. Quote
astroboy Posted April 5, 2014 Author Report Posted April 5, 2014 BTW, after a week of using this thing, I gotta say that the sound is fantastic. I'm no longer using my shop sound system Quote
astroboy Posted April 26, 2014 Author Report Posted April 26, 2014 Okay...my next criticism. It's WAY too easy to turn on. I have accidentally fired it up three times during transportation this week. That being said, the bottle opener came in very handy Friday afternoon at the end of a long week Quote
