DR99
Look at some of the awesome wood he was able to recover! http://imgur.com/a/b6oVuToo bad its not worth it around here. They planted a lot of garbage trees around here not really that useful for wood working mostly ash and silver maple trees. Lots of fast growing softwood trees. chadlanthier
Wow beautiful wood. I got a bunch red heart cedar logs for dirt cheap. My brother in law owns a huge saw mill on a a trailer and said he would cut it up for me.

BK13
What the heck is a silver maple? I hear 'maple' and I think it's got a decent chance to be a decent stick...

ChrisK
They sell the set up on Northerntool?. I saw it listed a couple of years ago. If I had the money and lived in an area where I could make use of it I would but alas....south east NH doesn't have too much to make me even come close to wanting to spend on it. DR99
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acer_saccharinumSome info on silver maples they do use it for furniture which I'm surprised as the tree we had in the back yard snapped all the time. It was just a dirty tree it had those darn helicopter seeds that got all over too
