madman_us
yeah i looked into that one already, but damn - wrong voltage hahaits a nice saw . they should make it cordless haha, then i would order it from there
DR99
That's the nice thing about cordless tools if your willing to pay the cost you can import pretty much anything as long as you have a charger that works on your voltage
madman_us
if that saw would see the us market, it would be cheaper than in germany/europe

ChrisK
I'm really thinking that Bosch is right up there with the Festool TS. A really good bit of kit and it'd be really nice if they'd come here to the U.S. with it.

Bigmikez
Looks very well built and if my buddy Chrisk is putting up there with festool then we know this looks like a quality tool!
ChrisK
One stupid feature that I really like is the depth stop know that is preset for the track depth. Genius that. Really well though out.
BK13
I can't justify the expense of the Festool and the DeWalt and Makita leave me feeling 'meh'. I bet I could really like a Bosch, assuming I could afford it...
madman_us
gonna be the same price - maybe 100 bucks less or so
BK13
As the Festool?
madman_us
Ya i think if the Bosch track saw would come out here then it prolly cost 500 or so
BK13
Ahh, I was thinking of he cost of the miter saw. Oops.
NERemodeling
BK, if your considering a track saw and can't go new festool you may want to consider used.. a lot of times you can find very lightly used festools on ebay.. also if it is within 3 years than you can take advantage of festools superb warranty.. you could actually just call festool and say you don't think it's cutting well or that it's out of adjustment and they will pay for the shipping to and from them and do a complete breakdown of the tool and make any repairs necessary. All fully covered within the first 3 years
NERemodeling
The Bosch does seem like a very nice saw.. I think it would be great it if came to the US just so there was some real competition for festool.. the track looks substantial but it appears that it is in no way compatible with festool
Illini
One stupid feature that I really like is the depth stop know that is preset for the track depth. Genius that. Really well though out.I agree with you on the depth stop feature. It really looks like Bosch put some thought into this track saw.
overanalyze
This is a Mafell product. They took away some features from their saw for the Bosch version. Bosch rails/tracks are what Mafell uses. Still a great looking saw. I hope it comes to NA someday just for the competition!
madman_us
ya i heard something about it, but never really looked more into it.but if it hits the market, im the first
