DR99
The price increase on the new M18 radio was a little crazy. It's 199 now which is a little better than the 230 price but not much The other specialty tools like conductor mentioned are defiantly meant for people that are using the tool daily to make money. Even a general contractor would have a hard time justifying the cost.

Bremon
If you want sticker shock price the Propex expander, knockout punch set, or thermal imager.I was a little disappointed that the new radio was twice as much as the previous model as wellI had expected a high price on the knockout punch set. The propex expander price made me do a double take for sure. The thermal imager price seems dated, seems like there are plenty of more well-featured imagers for cheaper these days. As far as the radio, I guess it's the Bosch tax for the charging feature.

Santi_78342
Here's my collection. Have another battery in the radio and a couple hand tools that aren't pictured!. Really wish they had a Fuel jig saw! I have also been looking to upgrade to the new radio but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I would love to add the new Milwaukee box to hold all of this stuff!

comp56
You mean holy mother of god? I know I was thinking the same thing, I was like, what the heck does he need 24MP for? Can his computer even handle the uploads from it? Each picture file must be what 8MB a piece?no actually they are 24.1MB in raw format and it does come in handy, you can open it up on computer and zero in on one area and crop it you don't lose any quality......... JerryNY
Sadly I've not needed a big assortment of tools until I recently decided to take on rehabbing a house and got disapponted with the level of workmanship on some of the jobs here so I only bought my first Milwaukee tool late last year and have been steadily adding:

JerryNY
I'm jealous now you have the Milwaukee tool chest!!I think if I hadn't been going to HD like twice a day lately I wouldn't have caved and bought it right away. The day I bought the top and bottom I promised myself I wouldn't walk by where I knew it was parked and run my hands over it again for the fifth time and as luck would have it an orange apron wheeled it in front of me to put it by the front of the store while talking to another guy about just selling one. I grumbled and walked immediately outside to the parking lot to get one of the heavy flatbed push carts and loaded the bottom onto it and went back later in the day for the top... It doesn't show up until I click on the post first! Thanks. My HD usually only has 1 or 2 of the deep organizers at a time it seems. You can check online and it will tell you if, and how many, they have in stock at your local store.
Santi_78342
How do you like the jig saw.I love it! I use it a lot for cutting laminate flooring and it will usually last 6-8 hours on a 4.0 battery. Obviously this is dependent upon how many cuts I am making. But this is including making straight cuts + rips so I don't have to walk to the miter and/or table saw if it's not set up nearby. Just wish it had an LED near the blade and I wish it said FUEL!!! JerryNY
HAHA thats funny, but you were lucky that they still had the top for sale Yeah totally. I was getting sloppy trying to keep my tools organized and it was a losing battle. The chest makes it easier to keep most everything in one place. I think next I'm gonna need a fuel 7 1/4" circular saw and hopefully a fuel miter saw not too far into the future...
