roadhog96
Anyone have this set and do they work as good as advertised? I've always used the basic style of these tools but am curious about the compound design. Im guessing they must work simular to bolt cutters they way they increase pressure at the jaws. Are they to long, awkward, end heavy, etc. Pros/Cons anyone?
Justin Hernandez
You can't cut big wire with the lineman's pliers they don't open wide enough
jeffmcmillan
The compound mechanism is stronger than the metal, or more accurately the metal is weaker than the compound mechanism.
Cody88
I have them I don't use the lineman pliers but I love the other two only complaint I have is the locking mechanism they always open when they are in my tool pouch and I've beat the crud out of the cutters cutting small copper a.c. lines to toliet bolts that were too long no problemsSent from my LGLS740 using Tapatalk
WigWagWorkshop
I just purchased these, to replace the cheap-o's that kept breaking on me. So far they have been outstanding, they feel great in the hand. -Steven
