taylorv1
I was wondering... On the edges of my cabinet doors and drawers there is a slight curved edge.. What bit is used to do that? Poisonfangs85
Comp, I am with you on the cove bit for the top profile, how do you achieve the edge profile? Start with a round over bit and then the cove?
comp56
top picture is most likely achieved with a shaper versus a router, or a raised panel bit
RickyMcGrath
It'll be a little trial and error to get that profile on a router. It will likely be several passes to accomplish the taper/partial ellipse shape. It was definitely done on a larger shaper bit. It would require multiple passes with different height adjustments on a router with a cove bit.
