chadlanthier
So u guys haven't seen me around TIA lately. There's a couple of reasons for that, first I went from a night job where I was on the computer job more to a day job in a more critical area, plus I went from 3 days a week to 5. And second I started adding a fireplace to my living room, which is taking up all my free time. Another project where I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm figuring it out piece by piece.

WigWagWorkshop
Looking great! I been debating converting our wood burning fireplace to gas, since the hook-ups are ready to go. However, there is something I really enjoy about a wood fire.
chadlanthier
Scratch coat done. Man didn't realize how labor intensive the scratch coat was going to be. Had bicep surgery a few years ago and boy did this flair up the arm. Oh well on to the next step.

chadlanthier
It is coming along. Took a few tries and f bombs to stop the rocks from sliding off the fireplace. Figuring out the mortar helped.
