I can't imagine that the full retail prices are actually what anyone will ever pay.  Ohio Power Tool also lists the 2704 with a "regular price" of $258 and we all know no one pays that.

That is a really good point. I know the Dewalt is $319 and can be had for around 270ish on sale without a battery and that nailer is supposedly the bees knees so that would make a lot of sense.

I guess they are counting on the hype of the Milwaukee nailers have caused to try and get full retail price for them. So far they are the only one I have found pre sales on them. With a May release time we have plenty of time to shop?

So I put all of them in the cart to visualize the damage.... damn, now I've got to find $1,400 to fuel my addiction (pun intended). Then again, my Ryobis work quite well for now.

Heck, for $50 more, not much sense in getting the bare tool.

Same thing with the Dewalt 20v trim gun only 50 bucks between the bare tool and kit the battey and tool is worth more than 50 bucks in my mind.

Great looking guns, but at those prices I'll keep using my Paslode angled 16 ga and my Porter Cable pneumatic 15 gauge nailer (Beast)
