So for those of you who dont already know the Milwaukee tools that we buy in the USA are different then most of the rest of the world. When i say different i personally think ours are lacking in features. For example our fuel cases are red in the USA. Elsewhere they are black and much different. Our hand tools are red and theirs are red and black. This thread is about the Fuel circular saws. Below are pictures of our saws vs theirs, they have the ability to connect a hose and from the videos i have seen have almost zero dust (great for cutting indoors or just not having to clean up). There is Very Little info on any of this online, basically Zero info (this will be the first thread online with comparison pictures & info out there). I will be converting my new Milwaukee Fuel M18 circular saw (2730-20) into a CCS55 (this is what they call theirs). After a TON of searching, emails, phone calls, & becoming friends with a friends friend who lives in the UK who visits me each year... I have found a repair facility who will be sending me all the parts i need. I found out its more than just popping the other side on mine. It looks like it is going to cost be about $40 to do everything (not bad for the ability to use the saw normally or have the ability for dust collection). I know this is not for everyone, but for those of you interested, I hope this helps. Anyone noticed this before with their Milwaukee M12 ratchet? Just to show that when I hold the socket in my hand or on a very loose bolt the socket wont turn, if I try it free load it works and also works when on a tight bolt, nut etc. I verified the Pawl and gear all looks ok. Hi, has anyone else had quite a bit of runout on their drill and/or driver when using longer bits? It becomes particularly cumbersome when using the 6" driving bits for screws, harder to keep it in the slot. Get there taking just a measure more care with the hand, but didn't notice this with my older Porter Cable stuff (albeit I don't recall using the 6" bits as much back then). Just curious what others have experienced. Thanks!

Hey guys not sure if this is a big deal or not but I've been noticing over the past few months that my fuel drill is starting to wobble almost like an impact driver does. it was perfect when I first got it but seems to be getting worse. It's not just with this longer extension it's with drill bits, my hole saws, even small or short bits too... I originally thought then a few things were bent but they are not. Everything on the drill seems tight, is this normal for an eight month old drill that's used around the house for DIY? I was wondering if there is any way to see what "version" of a tool you have based on the serial #. I have a M18 fuel drill/driver combo kit (the 2897-22) and purchased it about 2 months ago now. I think this kit has been out for over a year now. I was reading on another forum they have made new versions/variations since my kit was first released. for example i was told the newer ones have all the electronics inside sealed in silicone. ...are the drill & driver exactly the same inside. if you were to get it today vs if you got it the day it was released? or are there dif versions/builds out there even thou the model # is the same.

I started a thread in regards to what tools will fit in the Fuel hard case. This is a Brand New Fuel hard case for a driver & drill combo. I modified it to fit the Brushed combo kit: 2656-20 impact driver & 2606-20 drill (the most common/popular kit). The fit is 100% PERFECT. I paid $35 for the case shipped plus about 4 hours or so of work. Please let me know if you need more pictures... I am looking for $40

I picked up a M18 fuel driver/drill combo and took off the belt clip and extra bit holder. These will fit all M18 drivers and drills. Brand New and never used. If you do not have a Fuel set, you drill did not come with the belt clip and neither your driver or drill came with the bit holder! -- Looking for $8 each. Belt Clip + Screw: Bit Holder:

But at this size and weight, it could only be the M12 FUEL 2416-20 - Rotary Hammer. It looks small enough to give to your kids for christmas (which would be an awesome gift by the way, just don’t provide any bits). While this may be the most portable rotary hammer drill known to mankind, it still packs a mighty punch. Hey All, Up for sale is a brand new, unused, Milwaukee M12 Fuel Drill driver.. I ended up buying the new makita 18v brushless drill so im gonna sell this one. just a few weeks ago, before the new makita, i bought it as a kit but it never came out of its case (except for some pictures).. It has never had a bit in the chuck, in fact the chuck is still in the closed position it was in when i got it... I decided i wanted to keep the batteries for some of my other tools so im deciding to sell whats left as a "bare tool plus" kit! I'm looking into getting a drill driver, a hammer drill, and an impact driver for use on repairs to buildings on the farms. I'm stuck between the M18 Fuel and the new 20v Max. I'm pretty much set on brushless Lithium-Ion for power and run time. My question is, which is the more solid of the two? There have been reviews of a plastic screw breaking in the chuck of the Milwaukee, but I haven't seen much on the Dewalt. Has Milwaukee fixed this? Which is more reliable and the greater torque? What I'm asking is, does anybody have experience with these two lines?

Hi all new to the forum, just thought I'd start to get my two cents in on Milwaukee. Recently purchased multiple FUEL products awaiting delivery will write full review. M18 2653-22 M18 FUEL impact driver 2603-20 M18 FUEL drill 2655-22 M18 FUEL 1/2 impact wrench 2663-20 M18 High Torque impact wrench M12 2454-20 M12 FUEL 2 speed 3/8* impact wrench 2402-20 M12 FUEL 2 speed screwdriver 2403-22 M12 FUEL drill/driver 2.0/4.0 2457-20 M12 cordless 3/8* ratchet All tools purchased for work on a tool binge month. I've only received the 2653-22 so far as the others are bundled together in pre-order purchases. I have built a ski and boot rack of ply-wood and 2x4's since then, Initial thoughts are the LED helps alot, FUEL's "mode" selector is amazing which is kinda what sold me on the other M18 impact wrench 2655-22 as you can precisely gauge the power your putting to the fastener. I also really was drawn to the extended run-time of Brushless and 2.0/4.0 batteries. Thats it for now should have everything shipped to my door by Mid-March.
