  1. heres a video I shot http://youtu.be/Syzm1615HHE
  2. I use my Bosch ROS65VC in combination with Festool Modi all of the time. No problems whatsoever. Also if finding an appropriate size connector for a tool that may not fit is easily accomplished by purchasing the universal DC kit from Rockler. But as it stands, my Bosch works fine without any adapter, plugs righ into the power port on my Midi and the DC anti static hose hooks right up.
  3. Great work Dwain! Just saw this and it looks awesome.

No but Dan Pattison has an available plan you can purchase. Here is his YouTube channel https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCVphPMDEq-tlNNeQLjaJQZw Dan is a mod on another forum and is a heck of a nice guy and his plans for this are pretty cool. I purchased them but can't make it right now as I am getting ready to relocate my home!
  6. To echo Kruton I would have jumped too but already have a set. They are awesome and have been working out quite well for the last two years.
  7. I've got a 2800PSI Troy Bilt with easy start. This is my second year with it and I love it. It's my first one but I've used other ones and this one has been really good for me and my CanAm appreciates the anti mud attention it gets!
  8. yup. Mafell is red If you find a Mafell and a DC unit for $1200.....I don't care if it's in upstate, down East, East bomb fu#% Canada in the base, net of some axe murdering free state jihadist nut job, let me know! I'll be first in line
  9. No problem Comp, good luck! Be nice to see another greenie!!!
  10. One more thing, this is the discontinued older model. That pic you show is the new one. The giveaway is the green tab just forward of the blade. Here is the older model.... https://www.festoolusa.com/power-tools/track-saws/ts-55-eq-plunge-cut-track-saw-561432
  11. You know considering that, I'd give the tool a shot. At a lower price. Maybe a k and save a couple of hundred but give the tool a try with the DC hooked up. That way you can make sure everything is operating okay. There may be a missing dust cover insert on the machine (clear plastic, I'm not sure of its on the older model) so don't hold that against it if you see some dust coming out of the opening, just place a piece of painters tape and that should seal the blade in the housing and give you clean line of site. Plus that will tell you if the rail is still straight. Another thing to check is run the clamps in the clamp rails and make sure the rail isn't warped. Check over the filter in the 26, they now make a long life bag too so you won't have to get filter bags. It does come with a hose too?
  12. As in......hey meat head, stop being a jamoke and got outta da cah.
  13. Come to think on it, that might benefit you for a shake on the price. They haven't made that model for several years! He might just be a hobbyist and the machine may have been sitting for years.
  14. Yeah, you want the REQ model Comp. not too many differences but it's a great machine and the controls are slightly improved.
  15. Also kudos to North Hampton. That's awesome customer service!
  16. Check these guys out Phil, I've used them and they are awesome. Sometimes slow but awesome. http://www.ereplacementparts.com/ridgid-r4090-tile-saw-parts-c-7929_8182_147529.html
  17. Comp, you guys get boned on Festool in Canada so $1200 seems pretty high for used. I would add, if the tools are newer they are still covered by the warranty which is phenomenal and those two tools are Cadillac tools that will take a serious beating for many years and give you incredible results. I run the TS55REQ which is the newer model of that saw and the Midi and could not be more satisfied.
  18. Yeah I actually have several tools Kruton. I've got a 6" triangle, a couple of squares, corner clamps, a bevel gauge and this triangle as well as the Paolini rule which is absolutely awesome. I have been lucky and have monitored and subscribed to their site and they have sales occasionally but Toolnut sells their tools too and offers free shipping. Also to note that I have a couple of their one time tools but lately some of them have been super expensive and serve no legitimate purpose that can't be replicated with a cheaper alternative. Regardless, super nice tools that I have and the quality is seriously good.
