  1. Well the spindle sander is IDENTICAL to the woodcraft spindle and it was 50 cheaper so win win! Or rather WEN WEN!!!!
  2. No doubt but you have to use those batteries on occasion or they do go bad. Truthfully I'd just go with the Ryobi. Why spend a ton of cash on something that'll be used infrequently and with no real expansion of tool line

    WD-40 cologne

I can't keep my hands off myself when I get myself covered so....this has to work with the ladies!!!!
  4. Oh and welcome to the forum!
  5. I haven't heard of PC announcing a 20v fan so if your going to invest in a new battery lineup I'd really do some research. It would be a real waste of cash to buy into a line or something you have no interest in following through with. Another option is buy a kit with the batteries and charger included and buy the bare tool fan. I don't have a cordless fan but Ryobi has a really decent fan as does Milwaukee. If your looking into a particular line though, that's where I'd spend my money for the fan.
  6. I've got a WEN oscillating spindle sander and like it a lot. I'd add that their drill press looks a lot like the other 10" ones of which I have the Rikon and love it.
  7. Great job Larry, that came out awesome!
  8. Holy cow dude! That sounds like quite the business opportunity kicking off dude. I'm really happy for you! Retirement sounds pretty frikkin cool!
  9. Wow Comp! The paint job and decals look awesome! Sounds like you've found quite the niche!
  10. Nope. Disagree Comp. my tools are kept in a bed of soft foam and gently rocked to sleep by beautiful maidens so when they awaken they can tear through any material. I truly feel sorry for your tools. Tsk tsk tsk......
  11. Yup. I got two boxes from FastCap through Woodcraft. Great stuff. The pen they sell is crap.
  12. Thank you I didn't know this!
  13. Ha. Darn it Dewalt. I don't wantonly the Nicad Kit I want a 20v Kit! Sadly I'll probably get the 18v Kit with the 20v adapter. Their Brad is a phenomenal machine!
  14. That's is pretty darn cool! Now where the heck is my Brad nailer???????
  15. That's up to you dude, a tool review is ALWAYS appreciated!
  16. I haven't heard about a framer but knowing Milwaukee I wouldn't be surprised to see one.
  17. Hahahahahaha yeah that's right. Adam Sandler is actually from New Hampshire
  18. All I can think of is On Golden Pond but golden pond is actually squad lake and it's right next to Winnie
  19. That's is solid advice Comp. My mother in law and my wife talked today so we are all set staying with them so if we can hold out for two months I can see the big craftsman, the nice cape even sooner. I don't want to pressure myself into a home I won't love and certainly not one I cannot afford!
  20. Thanks a lot guys. We are pretty particular on the house now, an acre and a half is a must for our horse and the ability to have build a barn on that property is also a must for us. The house we have an offer on is a 1911 Craftsman Bungalow with two floors plus a basement and a huge attic. All hardwood floors, leaded Windows and an attached carriage house. The carriage house has a two bay garage, a basement and a huge second floor loft which will be converted to my new shop if we should purchase the home. The first floor bath is a gut job and the kitchen, though serviceable, will be completely renovated in the next couple of years. It's south of Lake Winnapesaukee and the school district is ideal. The exterior is in need of paint and a new roof has to be added. The second up house is a newer cape with an acre about an 1/8th of a mile from my mother and father in laws and close to the community I have lived in for 18 years. Decisions decisions....
  21. Hey guys, I got blasted by KMS Tools on importing fees. I bought from IHL and didn't pay anything except shipping. I ended up getting the drywall gun and a 5.0 pack and saved probably $30? With KMS I bought my 18v Makita jig which is NAINA. I can't remember what I paid for the tool, it was pretty cheap but I took a hit on shipping and then got another hit by UPS. They wouldn't release my tool until I paid them a second fee which was pretty high as I recall.
  22. I think my shop sold it! That and the bitchin' pantry I just made
  23. Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been too active on the forum, I'm checking in throughout the day but my wife and I put our home on the market Tuesday. It sold Tuesday. Well, it's pending but thankfully they want to have us out on the 24th of August and naturally our new home....well we don't have a new home! I've spent most of the last week out and about with my Wife scrambling for properties and have not had time to post, just check in and eradicate spammers! We have an offer in, in the lakes region but.....the home is bank owned and we cannot get an accepted offer in until 08-17 when the buyers from our home have to have financing secured so I've been stressing out a ton. Thankfully, having a baby on the way, having no home after August, getting to dog sit my brothers over aggressive dog for the next two weeks and stressing out about personal safety at work is making me lose some weight so.....win win!!!!! Please don't take all of this as a gripe, sometimes stress is good and having been blessed with a future home that my wife and I can pick out together and having my future come to fruition in January (that's when we are due!) makes all of the other crap in the world fade out! And.....somebody bought me coffee at my favorite drive through coffee shop! Little things like that make me realize that the job I do is appreciated. Anyways, I'll start posting again this week, just taking a breather from looking at "back up houses" tonight. My wife just made dinner, I'm going to have a cold beer and watch some Parks and Rec and It's my birthday later this week and my Wife is talking about maybe going over to Lie Neilsen over the weekend yaaaaaaayyyyy!
