  1. The new 300mm precision triangle from Woodpeckers came in yesterday. I'll post a picture when I can!
  2. Absolutely, the coolest thing I've seen in a while. That dude is friggin slick. Awesome thanks for sharing Wigwag!!
  3. Yeah, I've been seriously toying with the idea of getting the DCS361 in the near future especially with the new home going into the near future and many outdoor projects, I just don't feel like setting up the Kapex outside and then bringing it back in and running the cord out. I've also been toying with getting the new 60v charger system Dewalt is introducing this month and that will power the Kapex right enough.
  4. Hey is that a double or single bevel on the miter?
  5. Most distributors here in the US come out of the their hq directly. Whenever I buy from Bob Marino, the tools have always come from their main office and that included the recon tools o have bought.
  6. Hahahaha....yeah it'll be a bill
  7. Believe it or not, the Festool DCs are right in line than the competitors but they are really well designed machines. You can get some models a little bit cheaper but a comparable Bosch is right in the same price category.
  8. Any Festool DC is considered top of the line. Bosch also makes a really good machine too.
  9. Normally I don't push Dremel, but, Dremel is actually quite good at the rotary tools. It a fan of their other tools but the rotary tools are actually quite solid!
  10. It's Ampere Hours. An 18v battery with 5.0ah for instance.
  11. Whoa whoa whoa Korno...... Festool is still wayyyyyyy better;)
  12. Hahahahahahahahaha! Man Dan is getting the hate!!!!!! Hahahahahahahaha
  13. Well unlike these jamokes I have the CXS Best drill I've ever used. Period. Now....to answer your question. I would recommend without a single doubt, go Makita (answering your question about brands, there are certainly more brands out there to go with) My CXS like the one your looking at has all of the centrotec system chucks and undoubtably the centrotec system is the best but it's a stand alone tool. No 10.8 impacts or saws and I haven't heard that they would consider changing or adding. I am pretty well ensconced in the Centrotec system though and my main drill is the T18 and I have the installers kit plus a bunch of zobos and centrotec brads. If your looking for a 12v / 10.8v line I hate to say it but you might want to look elsewhere. If your looking for a tool for installation work with multiple options on the same tool is highly recommend the CXS. Just remember the limitations of not having saws and the like in the 10.8 realm.
  14. Just got one myself. Wood handle and titanium head. Seems really well balanced and comfortable to use
  15. Also, I have the Kapex. It's amazing. But.....if I didn't get such a smoking deal on that saw I never would have bought it. I would've gone with Dewalt, Bosch or Milwaukee. Maybe the Hitachi. I think that Dewalt 60v you've got coming next month is going to be a great miter!
  16. Actually I do use the Festoo blades. They are really fantastic and well constructed. They ain't expensive either. I also have a bunch of Bosch blades that I use and between the two, I don't think there is a better manufacturer of blades, in my humble opinion.

    BOSCH PS22

Hey Todd, there is a seller in S Korea selling the 42, the grinder and the rotary tool. They are all compatible with our batteries just not the Chargers! I think @overanalyze bought his 42 from that seller and had good luck with him. I gues he is a good seller and gets stuff it pretty quick!

    BOSCH PS22

I'd say get the PS22 over the PS21.....IF you don't already have the PS21. If you've got the PS21, keep it. It's a great driver to be sure. Also, remember, the PS21 is rated to have higher torque over the PS22, same size, some RPMs. The PS22 is slightly lighter than the PS21 but I don't think all day use is going to cause aches and pains etc. Bosch claims that the EC motor will last twice as long over the PS21 but I can't claim anything to the contrary or otherwise. But the OP asked about the merits of the PS22 and how it compares to the Jacobs chuck version and the impact and I thinks it's an awesome assembly tool. I love mine! But, if I already had the original, I wouldn't just switch to get a new one. Why spend a bone and a half?
  20. Welcome to the forum dude. Say goodbye to your wallet
  21. Ha, beats the heck outta me dude. It really sounds like their Brad has some split reviews. If Ryobi had a framer id say go with that. You've already got batteries and truthfully they make awesome nail guns. Believe it or not! I had an Airstrike Brad for quite a while and she was getting tired so I replaced her but it was a great nail gun.
