    BOSCH PS22

I've got the PS22 brushless driver and it's one of the best on the market. The PS22 uses 1/4" drill bits, can easily drill or drive and is ultra compact. If you want to hammer larger screws and some bolts through then the PS42 is what you will want. If you want to pre drill holes, drive screws into furniture projects etc etc then that is really what the PS22 is for, drilling, screwing and assembly! The thing with the PS22 is size. No Jacobs chuck. It will limit you to 1/4" shank bits (unless you have a 1/4" adapter) but that's why the PS22 has suck a prestigious place in my shop alongside of my Festool CXS. It's a compact machine designed to fit into small places and provide very good assembly.
  3. Hahahaha well well well......oh how the mighty have fallen Let me know when you get it DR! Also you might want to look into some DC or an adapter for your shop vac! Your going to love the saw. Wait till oh splurge on the base kit. Wow.
  4. Yup, what NotCarl says! You can disassemble the pocket joints too but he's dead on that'd work excellent!
  5. One of our members, Dwain and his bud did a video of the gun compared to a couple of more. Certainly worth checking out!
  6. Oh....and welcome to the forum Gareth!
  7. Well, like you, I've got too many myself. I looked over that gas battery mix framer and meh. It's got some really bad reviews. I love Makita but......Framers are few and far between for direct battery without fuel but you are smart for trying to keep the same lineup. Maybe you'll have better luck!
  8. Nice find Nalu, never heard of the brand but it cleaned up pretty sweet!
  9. I'd disassemble the joint if it's imperative to use the jig or else I would just make a new jig without attaching it to the router base so you can route into the corners. Kind of hard to give you an intelligent answer though without seeing exactly what your trying to do, can you draw something up or move the router and jig aside?
  10. Thanks bro I appreciate that! My only gripe is both the claw and the hammer are made in China! I thought all of their tools were USA! Still thought, super nice quality! And that framer is crazy light!
  11. I'm with @overanalyze the Dewalt is the bees knees. Bosch seems to have missed a great opportunity with their cordless gun and it hasn't received the best of remarks. Too bad too, Bosch makes awesome tools.
  12. Holy crap. That was an underwear changing moment.
  13. Yeah Jimbo is like one of those 80s home shopping net work gurus of there's a deal, Jimbo finds it.
  14. Supervisors from other departments telling your subordinates how you should do business.
  15. Hahahahaha yeah, I'm going to say yellow
  16. Don't think dude. Just buy. It's awesome. My IDH182 is super jealous!
  17. Dude, please tell me had something else on there insane too
  18. Great video Dwain. Glad I bought the DCF887 from Dewalt. My IDH182 is an awesome machine but the chuck drives me nuts. Really impressed with my new Dewalt and when I get my new 60v recip next month I'll have the upgraded charger though I am running 2-5.0s and a 2.0 and haven't ever had a recharge time issue cycling batteries. I am one of the few who like mode 1 on the Dewalt. Especially for those finicky finish screws in furniture. I'm keeping my Bosch for a little bit longer, it's nice having an impact wrench available and they make real quality tools but I will eventually let it go when I move in the next two months.
  19. Yeah, that will be a craigslist sale! No shipping on that bad boy. Personally though, I'd keep it. I want the cordless one for just that, cordless operation. When I buy with the big one or the 20v my Kapex will still be my primary miter.
  20. Cannot wait to see you get that Jason. I'm going to eventually get it or the 20v one.
  21. Sounds like your between a rock and a hard place dude. I have bought batteries on eBay several times but buy them through reputable dealers but it is a viable option if money is a concern. If it's not, and your not tied to a battery line I would just say screw it, go 5.0 and get the Milwaukee with the option of the power cord which is shared by the much less expensive Ryobi fan. You get your startup kit and fan at HD and buy back ups on eBay. As far as work site fans go I've given you my two cents but I can only tell you what I've heard, I don't use one in my shop. I would say that the guys here have given some great insight for you though! http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-ONE-18-Volt-Hybrid-Portable-Fan-Tool-Only-P3320/205022215 http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-ONE-18-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Battery-and-IntelliPort-Charger-Upgrade-Kit-P128/203466924 http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-18-Volt-Compact-Lithium-Plus-and-Charger-Kit-2-Pack-P109-117/204100851 Regardless. It's a battery option and run time will always be a problem but purchasing some high cap second hand batteries on eBay will save you some serious coin and you can sit in fanned delight while you ponder which beer you should drink while listening to the deafening sound of silence and the light hum of battery powered cooling while you wait for your hard working linemen to get you power restored
  22. If money is the issue, Ryobi would probably be the answer. You can get more batteries on eBay for a portion of the cost of a new battery but that should fit your needs.
