  1. Would really love to see the finished product. Awesome work all around Turner, I've been trying to put together in my mind how I want to build the roof line on a projected build I have on my home and it's going to be a covered porch. Seeing your time lapse photos is really helpful sir!
  2. Yeah I think I remember that Jason. As I said @Milwaukeenut, not new....improved. If they are redesigning them this will be great. I have been reading a lot of pros on the Dewalt 5" but truthfully, I'm not in the market. I've got that Bosch ROS65VCL and my Festool ES125 and RO90DX. Still, seeing Milwaukee come out with a new design to their limited sander line is nice. Maybe with the planer and these sanders there might be a router re-introduced? Do I see some foray into woodworking again? Hmmmmmmm? What seems to be new is going to be the dust collection system and the anti vibration. I'm hoping the did what Dewalt is doing or something similar to Bosch. The DC looks pretty slick too. I like the new addition of the DC nozzle for attachment to DC units. Maybe Milwaukee has finally listened to my whining? The planer looks like a real winner and these sanders could really help them out in the market too. When knows? Maybe a contractor saw? Oooooh......maybe a DC unit????
  3. Looks really nice Jason, I've been thinking the same thing. Haven't made the plunge but it'll certainly be cheaper for me. I ain't no. Echo if so I will not t get as many when I start.

    Impulse buy

Many a day I've walked from Woodcraft saying...."what on Gods green earth was I thinking" while smiling and carrying a new toy,...much to the chagrin of my checkbook Congrats dg, Your path to the dark side continues
  7. Awesome stuff Fletch and good for you! Drop me a PM and I'll see if I can round up some tools for you to give him. I've got some miscellaneous stuff in my shop and I'd love to help.
  8. It works on the Fein Supercut which is the higher end multi tool. The machine is essentially what Festool modeled the Vecturo on as Fein is the original. The Supercut is their best tool and to be honest, if I get a corded version, unless I come across some crazy deal, the Supercut multi master will end up being the one I get, but the 350 was the one I originally wanted. The only reason I want the Vecturo is because of the plunge base. But, there is a slight modification that has to be done to accommodate the base. Super easy and I think last year one of our members even posted how to do it. Also there are several mentions of this mod on other sites. Long story short, it works but only with the slight mod and only on the Supercut.
  9. Yeah the plunge base will work on the Fein Super as that is essentially the design ideas Festool got from Fein but from what I understand the Festool is a great machine. Apples to apples though I'd definitely go with the Fein, the Festools is really pricey but when talking to a Woodcraft guy and he sells both, he said the Festool has something that dampens vibration even more. Regardless, I love my Bosch MXH 18v!

  17. I don't have a poker face. I can't keep a secret from my wife ether. Also Samantha said I don't know how to date. Which I find funny on account of her marrying me but after 22 years off the market on our first date ending she asked if I had fun and I said....and I quote...."yeah it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be"
