  1. Hmmmmm. Let's see, $250 for the saw, $150 for A battery and charger.....yowza!
  2. KWC, can you move the blade around in the shaft housing? Nice looking saw.thus far my only recip is my M12 Fuel.
  3. Wow, that brings back memories I like sanders too! I lke Ice Cream Sorry....A Christmas Story and Family Guy are my life guides!
  4. Yeah John, that looks like a REALLY nice jigsaw. I'd really like to consider that but another battery platform....? Plus I've only got one Makita in my shop, my Magnesium Hypoid. Awesome, truly awesome saw. But alas no batteries.
  5. Wow. That's a nice looking hammer! Any word on the jigsaw thus far?
  6. Chad...I'm using this....http://t.homedepot.com/p/Dyna-Glo-Pro-75-000-BTU-Forced-Air-Kerosene-Portable-Heater-KFA75H/202816129/ Works great, very little odor, but boy oh boy it burn through kerosene really fast.
  7. Yeah I read that. There is a reason you have to keep up with reviews because of BS comments like this tool left. Seriously, before you leave a review....actually learn how to use the tool, put said tool to use THEN leave feedback. Some tool reviewers are like uninformed voters. Thanks Obama Care.
  8. Good one Comp, I had seen one like this before.
  9. If this was blue with green lettering, guys would pay $495 for it....I kid you not. This is a great machine.
  10. Keeping in mind Samuel, you can buy the six inch pad on your own and convert it whenever you want the bigger pad. This is truly an awesome sander!
  11. Welcome to the forum naatje! That is freakin' awesome dude! Cold job with that to both you and your neighbor. I think you've started a really hot topic with this guy!
  12. First off, welcome to your forum! Secondly....if you are buying one tool....I'd go with a drill. The reasoning is that the drill is going to drive screws, it will also drill holes. The impact driver can drill holes too but...it is really and ideally used to drive fasteners. The impact mechanism allows you to use the high torque and impacts to really pound in large fasteners. One could argue either way but the impact gun is a phenomenal tool all around but the drill is my go to tool. If you think about what you are going to be using the tool for mostly then it is easier to make that purchase. Keep in mind, when you purchase either Dewalt, Bosch, Makita, Milwaukee you are really buying in to a tool platform powered by one battery platform. That first purchase can quickly lead to a cordless circular saw, jigsaw, recip saw, impact gun, right angle drill, lights, radios, sweet Lord Above the trail never ends. However, for my two cents, I'd get a drill. It's going to do light duty fastening, medium duty drilling and make life happy. The get your impact. Then the smiling starts. Also, don't think that an impact gun is going to take lug nuts off of tires, you need an impact wrench in most cases for that. Good luck dude!
  13. I like my 1-3/4 hp with body mold but I don't have it anymore. It's be nice to see Milwaukee start making some woodworking tools... Planers, routers etc...
  14. Sorry to hear that Dwain I hope the bloke is better soon!
  15. Samuel, it really is worth every penny. You get excellent storage in the l boxx 3d and I can fit two boxes of Mirka paper in it. Two pads for five and six inch diameter basically making it two in one. Made in Switzerland, three year warranty. That price is a steal dude.
  16. Madman....I friggin' love it. I'll do a full review on it but yesterday I was using it to sand mud in the bedroom with my Wife. Samantha was using the smaller ES125 (Festool) and I was using this beast. I finished more wall in forty minutes by far than she. The ES125 has the five inch pad whereas I am using the six inch so naturally I could go further, faster. The dampening control is awesome. It is heavy using it over head but not too bad. The DC is great though I haven't used the canister, it's been plugged right into my Midi. It's got two vent holes on the vac shaft so some debris does escape from it, but truly very little $215 and this is a steal on Amazon or HD.
  17. Thanks Chad, it's getting there. I keep getting diverted to the remodel but hopefully Saturday I can play around down there and get things organized.
  18. Can't wait to see them. The box pic looks just like my Ryobi. Good little stand too!
  19. Samuel, I had (still do don't use it though) a B&D sheet sander. Hate it. Sheet sanders can be finicky, you have to learn how to use it with the wood and the project to get the most out of the sander. I will probably buy a sheet sander and more likely than not this one for finishing. I have had the same problem too in the past to. I think using the right paper, pressure and the quality of the paper and tool are what make the sander work.
  20. Thanks for the update Travis. I hope your guys are okay. Crashes are traumatic....period. Even when the operator didn't do anything wrong.
  21. I've got the DW745 saw and love it. I also have the DW734 planer and love that too. I have a Dewalt 16g finish nailer (air) and like that a lot. I want the 20v framer.
