  1. That's what you can use clamps for though! It's a really good option for a track saw without having to spend the cash for a stand alone unit.

Good for you Mikey! Glad to help. I really like my Dewalt. The price and the FENCE were my deciding factor. I was worried about no dado but some of the members quickly pointed out to route them which is what I do normally so this is not an issue for me, more of a brain fart
  3. Thanks Chad. I think Regopit mentioned something about this guy some time ago but for $169 that's a heck of a good deal. You get the clamp mechanism and the 54" track. Everything you need to cut. Throw it on a Milwaukee Fuel, Dewalt, corded, cordless and you have super straight cuts. Plus you can add tracks. For my TS55 I have three 55" rails with a set of connectors. Can cut full length set goods straight and finish quality smooth edges. This kit is USA made too!
  4. Alright....when I get home today I'll try it out. Not gonna be as big as your John. Man....I ALWAYS say that! You'd figure being 25% Italian.....
  5. I want to take a jab at Dodge but I am a Mopar guy
  6. Wait a second....now I'm confused....which tool????
  7. Well guys actually I am running ONE midi downstairs in my shop because Samantha has the other one and my RO90 and ES125 sanders upstairs in the bedroom! I'm very nice to her. Everyone else can kiss my lily white New England A$s!!!!!
  8. Yeah they're going to look great when I get them in. I didn't get to work on the shop at all today. Preparation for the storm Monday they are forecasting 1'-2' of super heavy cement snow. Plus my wife and I were upstairs working on our future suite remodel. Samantha abused the heck out of some wall studs with my Milwaukee M12 Fuel hackzall. She (and it) did awesome!
  9. Hey alright! Glad you are Comp, this is supposed to be one heck of a saw setup! Comes with a 54" track too!
  10. hey guys, here's the link to the EZSmart track system for your circular saws! http://www.rockler.com/ezsmart-track-saw-system-54-in

I am attaching a link for you to read. PLEASE READ THIS MIKEY! This was the deciding factor for me and really pointed me in my final direction. By the way....My DW745 is awesome. Can't really Dado but that's okay! http://www.thisiscarpentry.com/2012/01/20/portable-saws-bosch-or-dewalt/
  18. Thanks Madman. These are really special, I really lucked out with that and three! I might try to sell one on CL and that'll pay for the lights but I am not so sure. Nice thing is they came designed to fit under the woodcraft upper shelves so they are equipped with grounded plugs. I might cut them and direct wire them with chain pulls though.
  19. So I went to Woodcraft in Newington NH today to look at.....yes you guessed it....some Festool stuff. While talking to the store manager Mark I was explaining that I needed to go to HD this weekend and get another shop light. Anyways he says "you want to buy some really nice Freud Marketing lights" I said I'd look. I walked out with three brand new Freud wrapped fluorescent lamps. T8 single 48" lights in a under cabinet box with huge Freud name plates on the front. $50! I'll post a picture as soon as I airdrop them to my iPad!
  20. Thanks DR, I'll give it a try. I didn't register it as it was a Christmas special about three years ago but maybe they'll replace it?
  21. Fantastic video Moze! Awesome comparison! Very timely as my Ridgid shop smoked up the other day and I don't want a big shop vac especially since I'm running two midis on my tools.
