  1. Yeah I paid $177 for the set. It includes the Jacobs, Centrotec and Eccentric chucks plus the batteries and charger in the systainer. Honestly, it's the coolest drill out there. Not brushless though and no fuel gauge. Crazy amount of torque for such a little guy. If you could swing it, I'd get it. The rest of the drills.....meh. I love mine but truthfully, the CXS does all the stuff my T15 does just a lot less power.
  2. Well to be honest KWC, I really do like what I have. I wouldn't mind adding a new stand for my Kapex and relocating the Ryobi to the DW745
  3. I've got all of those DR, as far as the drills...I can't justify the expenditure other than to say (and I do have the ) the real advantage of the centrioles is that the large portion of the bit or drill shaft is ensconced in the chuck allowing the bit to drive very straight. The power is amazing in my T15+3 and my CXS is the cats smelly balloon knot. The bits are a$s expensive but the quality is really amazing. I will say the my Dewalt is freakin a powerhouse and it is the brushed models but I love it. My T15+3 is brushless and has the different right angle attachments so it's quite the useful tool. But then again so is my B&D Autosense. I frikin love using that in the Kreg jig. Mr Yellow....what can I say. I wouldn't touch that yellow brand for the life of me! Now....? Planer....DW745....DCD985....20v saw....!!!!!!! Chad.....I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to insult you. I read your post and was like "that poor kid probably wears a helmet full time....wow....I AM insensitive" you just keep picking and eating young man..... Yukka Yukka Yukka! . Just kidding
  4. Wow I'd like to respon intelligently to that but I guess it's like telling a drunk dude to stop peeing on the street. Sometimes you just have to let the dog wag his tail... Just kidding. I happen to like my new yellow tools. They're kind of like a mentally challenged cousin. Sure he breaks a couple of things and picks his nose in public and then eats it....but he's family
  5. Yeah I read the deflection in the 12" is pretty bad. The 1016 was on my short list for a new saw.
  6. Nice job Ignacio. Is that the ls1016? Kinda hard to see it!
  7. I'm wondering if the tech is the same Regopit. They used the Fein design Supercut for the basis of the Vecturo. Makes sense to base it on a high quality design.
  8. As far as my newest tool purchase it'd have to be the DCD985 hammer drill and the DCS391 circular saw I bought last month. So far I'm really happy with my purchase and I added a 4.0 battery to the kit.
  9. I'm not sure DR, I've got a Rotex RO90 and ES125 sander. While I've been in the shop l, Samantha has been upstairs with my Midi and ES125 grinding through the big bedroom pine knotty boards. I've never used the Mirka but supposedly they are the best. My two Festools are hands down and ten yards ahead of that, the best I've ever used and the DC is unbeatable. I might try the Mirka out next time I go down to Woodcraft but I can't see buying another sander.
  10. They are selling a Mirka sander at my local Woodcraft in a yellow sustainer and I hear they are really really really good sanders but alas....no purchase. They also have a Mirka DC unit for sale too!
  11. Last summer I was getting something out of my shed. The rake I moved, as I was on my knees reaching for something, hit my Poulin corded chain saw. That thing came down blade first and hit the hardest object I own and survived! That object was my head....
  12. Hey Travis....well I won the UTB!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!! Also about two years ago I was given a Porter Cable 20v impact driver. Thanks! Chris
  13. Hey Comp, so I am adding three fluorescent lights but...I just found three different LED style lights at Lowes. They are pretty reasonable, not as cheap as the kits but max out at 65 for the two bar LED light. I will put those in as I have a junction box I can piggy back those off of. I have a family related electrician coming in next month to upgrade the house to 200 amp and I will have him run a new series of outlets into the shop. In my old one (on the other side in an l shaped corner) I added to fluorescent lights and six outlets. I'll have a decent amount of light there in no time! Problem will be as it always was, getting plywood downstairs and projects out. I have to tear down plywood before going down the basement steps and projects have to be smaller than 4' width or final assembly is outside! It's funny about the humidifier too. I have two that I run all summer cause it is so humid in New England but during the winter months it's drier than a bone, interestingly I have had some project wood down there for over a year and it hasn't warped.

Total agreement and welcome to the forum! Ridged LSA is plagued by negative Nancy's but when I was a Ridgid owner I did as DR said and registered my tools. Twice I needed battery replacement ...no problem. They have a small but reliable line of cordless tools and they have some okay and some downright awesome bench and stationary tools. My brother is a plumber and loves the Ridgid plumbing line.
  15. Samantha bought me two Dewalt XL clamps for a "stocking" stuffer. They are awesome clamps!
  16. I hope it comes out okay Mike. Still a dark dank basement and I can only frame in part of the concrete foundation for access reasons but believe me, it's going to be just great for me! I've wanted to do this for years and just being able to move over is awesome. I cleared up some of my pics and will try to attach a photo of the mess that is my little shop! <a href="http://s44.photobucket.com/user/chriskelby/media/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps6c4131df.jpg.html"target
  17. Got to work downstairs for a few hours though you would never know it. I built a scrap wood Clamp rack. Step 2. Got some clamps up, have to build another but this will get stuff off the ground. Really simple, ripped a piece of 3/4" plywood with my TS, cut several 7" slots in it. Glued and screwed (Kreg) a support rack, did a quick jig on the Kapex cut a bunch of vertical supports, Kregged it up, through some deck screws in and viola. It still looks like a freakin' Tijuana Abortion Clinic on a Monday morning after Fiesta down there
  18. You gotta love business execs trying to do a video like that. I've an idea, hand it over to Regopit and let HIM toss it down some stairs. At least it'll look like it was run through its paces. Obviously the thing it built to be durable, it's a freakin' Dewalt....I've gotten rougher back massages from my wife!!!
  19. Nicholas, what app are you using cause I tried batch resizer and it doesn't work for me. It'll shrink the photo down but it doesn't affect the file size.
  20. I use my ad to post in both full site mode and mobile and it only allows a 4.41kb download. I can't get my pics any smaller on the suggested web sites.
  21. I've been trying the apps too but for some reason......meh. I'm not sure what the problem is
  22. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH MY GOSH THATS FRIGGIN HYSTERICAL!!!!!!!
  23. Wow. Thems pritty big wirds for a euro!
