  1. Yeah, I've got the OF1400 with the track guide assembly. Probably the smartest way but you never know what someone else may say. Regardless, I'm not going to drop a bone on a decent blade set before somebody says yeah or nay.
  2. No prob NER! To quote....."lo-ovin...it's what I got....remember that....lo-ovin...it's what I got"!
  3. Hey alright! That's awesome! I ended up joining the FOG last December when my wife, Samantha, bought my TS55. Great place for advice on Festools. I hope you like it here, really friendly chat from a great group of people. All skill levels to zero to full time pros! You should check ou the YouTube channel too!
  4. Well I'll tell you NER, I appreciate it! And am looking forward to trying out the Bosch Multi so this is very pertinent to me! Thank you sir
  5. Okay so let me ask you this Regopit....everybody says no on the dado set for the 745 but I have read a couple of opinions that you can. What's your thoughts on it? I'd really like to put a Freud set on there but am truthfully nervous! NER, my 745 came with that plate which is awesome and they increased the max cut width too! The fence is fantastic and I'm really having fun with this little guy. I'm not cutting sheets, I use my TS55REQ for that but it is awesome at what I am using it for.
  6. NER, when the UTB gets in ill let you know about the MM500 from Klein. Eric and Dan did a review on it and it is their favorite one. Also it's just under $50 at HD! I think Regopit has one too!
  7. That's a pretty cool jig Comp. It's funny looking at what NER posted and this I'm clearly not, letting my little guy live up its potential.
  8. NER...the below mentioned is not from me but from Amazon customer review...I hope this helps! Chris Exact Quote from Amazon.... Not sure why this gets so many good reviews. I went to a local big box store that sold the same item after reading about it here on amazon. I have a Milwaukee 12v cordless rotary tool and while this is not a Dremel tool my issue has nothing to do with branding. The guide has the same screw threads as the Milwaukee and fits perfectly fine. No issues there, I thought it was great that it fit. Then I tried to use it with a router bit to do some test routing on some softwood. I wanted to get the hang of it before trying it on my finish pieces. Here is the issue, look at the picture of the guide head. See that one tiny spring loaded screw that holds it at a particular depth? Worthless! Won't hold it straight to save its life. I tried pushing it all the way to the top to keep it flat and adjust the bit to a depth I wanted with a ruler but it still has a little flex in it so you don't get a straight cut. If you want my advice, if you plan to router something, just spend the 80-90 dollars and just buy a dedicated finish router for stuff around the house. Don't waste your money like I did. If they beef this thing up and add at least 2 more set screws it might work. As for now, it just does a really good job at messing up your cuts.
  9. Wow....that looks familiar!!! I didn't get to cut in the Sheetrock yesterday but it's coming! I can't wait! This little guy is quite the kit!
  10. Hey....AWESOME! Now us Americans can sit back and watch the rest of the world play with new toys for....I don't know....2....maybe 3 years? Then.....we get to play!
  11. I've got the same plate on my 745. Love it. Man the fence I'd dead nuts accurate too!
  12. Yeah NER, the tip can be removed for accessories that screw on. As far as DC goes though, I have not seen anything for the M12. Additionally I have never used the tool as a drywall tool but I know there are blades for it. I'm not sure how it would do but it does work great as a compact cutoff tool.
  13. Hahahahahaha yeah that's the truth KWC. Looks like,Gods waiting room is in my future
  14. Thanks for that Comp and I won't put it off either. I have a bulkhead on the table end of my house where my small shop was. Ends up, it is cracking. I talked to my neighbor, Guy, who happens to be a retired Union concrete guy as I wanted to fix the cracks but maybe lengthen the actual bulkhead so it is not as as steep. This way I could get 4x8 sheets downstairs a little easier. The bulkhead is really the only opening I want to have as it is ideally located on the table end. I have a cape but the layout is opposite of most, my front and rear entries are on the gable ends not the length of the house. My lot is flat and level (not at all unlike my first girlfriend) so having a walk out isn't possible. I'm probably going to stay at least four years quite possible longer (Samantha wants to move to Florida....me not entitle so much...guess who will win? Hint....not me).
  15. I've got a couple of the 4.0 and use them in my Fuel Havkzall. Surprised how long that saw will run doing moderate work. Plus although the bigger than the M12 Hackzall, the Furl version is still compact enough to get into tight areas. Mike, you're going to love that little guy. I love mine and use it fairly frequently. Mostly for buffing. I get my Dremel accessories, cutoff wheels, buff pads etc not to mention carving blades. and it is just a great comfortable tool. Only wish I had was an LED light on the front end. Not the tip as you can add Dremel attachments to the screw cap.
  16. Nice! That's a win! I mean for you
  17. Comp looking good. Where are you getting your black ash? Locally or through online?
  18. My problem is the edge. My Chocurua has some pretty steep drops, I'm okay with that. Try climbing a ladder to get on my roof, one story up (cape) and I freak out. Once there I'm fine. Getting back on the ladder...freak out! And I was a firefighter for five years!
  19. Welcome aboard Rtorres! Have fun on the forum!
  20. Hahaha I did rappelling training on SWAT. Three story building and I was crapping my pants. No thanks. Chris is built for the ground.
  21. I'll curl up in front of the fire and cry. Which as it happens is what I'm doing right now!!
  22. Hmmmmm......I think I'll take my new IDH182 Besides....my arms hurt from shoveling.
  23. They sell the set up on Northerntool?. I saw it listed a couple of years ago. If I had the money and lived in an area where I could make use of it I would but alas....south east NH doesn't have too much to make me even come close to wanting to spend on it.
