  1. Hahahahahaha that's awesome!
  2. I'm pretty sure you'll figure that one out Madman
  3. More....MORE....Yellow?!?!?!?!?!!? How's about some Blue and Green? How's about some Blue and Red? My God in Heaven!!! I know I just added a bunch of yellow to my shop but cmon!!!! Give an under cover brother a break!!!!
  4. Well I'm not speaking from experience but...I've heard the Makita LXT 18v Planer and the Bosch 18v planer are both fantastic tools. Two very respectable lines to say the least. Plus getting into another line gives you so many other options.
  5. I'm with you BK! After having gone through my major life upset I got married to Samantha in 2014, got my best friend Rufus through a major surgery so he can be healthy for the time I've got him, paid for and paid off a wedding, down some major home renovations....AND WON THE UTB 5....2014 was freakin' awesome! 2015....well no changes needed here! Maybe win the mega bucks and get the heck into retirement!!
  6. I'd try Makita and Dewalt (UK) sites for current releases.
  7. Generally Alan, Dewalt, Makita, FESTOOL (For Pete sake)...even Milwaukee and Bosch hit the other side of the pond before they come here sometimes by a couple of years!
  8. No problem there Mr Yellow. I've really been thinking about it. I might grab a pack of both. I hate to say it but Milwaukee is off the table for bits. NOT FOR TOOLS THOUGH!!!!
  9. Thank you! Frikin forgot about Hurricanes! AND tornadoes!!!! And swarms of locusts, cicada bugs, cock roaches......ewwwwwww
  10. Hey Alan, I've got several brands in my shop...even a Ryobi (air strike brad nailer - awesome). I've also got a Black + Decker 20v Autosense drill that I ABSOLUTELY love. One of the guys here commented on a pic I had posted of my B+D next to my T15+3 and Ti15 from Festool. I've got a Dewalt 20v hammer drill and circular saw and a coup,e of (that's about to change....thanks Eric and Dan!) M12 tools. I tried staying with one brand and realized for the multitude of DiY projects and hobby woodworking projects calls for more lines. But then again, I'm not a pro like you so really you have to figure out that sweet spot that works for you!
  11. With the Bosch IDH182 and the Milwaukee Fuel coming I need to get some impact bits. I wanted the Milwaukees but Conductor and a lot of others have had problems with them. So I threw in the Makita Gold idea and boycotted the Dewalt bits (black oxide impact) but now???
  12. Dude.....nothing.....NOTHING.....is worse than Florida. Just kidding, but not entirely sold on it. Out here I can Mountain Bike, hike, kayak no danger....down there...Mountain Bike - heat exposure, poisonous snakes and insects, alligators. Hiking - See aforementioned. Kayaking - See aforementioned....oh yeah and add sharks! And don't get me on overcrowding and Florida drivers!!!
  13. Okay that makes sense with Maxfit. HD and slowed in Rochester stopped carrying them and I wasn't sure if they were impact rated. I did NOT like the Black Oxide impact bits from Dewalt they didn't hold up well. Thanks Mr Yellow!
  14. Is there any difference between this and the max fit bits?
  15. Downloaded. When I get to the office I'll try it out.
  16. Good for you NER. People forget how much financials can hurt. I'm glad your both recovering dude!

Welcome aboard Thoenew. I've got that hammer drill and saw and love em both!
  18. Fastcaps are really small and have a pretty cool belt clip feature. Not much for standout. Really nice tapes for fine work though. Also have a pencil sharpener built in and a erase able surface for jotting down measurements too
  19. Thanks Chad and NER, I'll do the router thing. If you can get your hand on that throat place Chad, it is pretty sweet, leveling isn't a problem and the thumb screw works slick as snot.
  20. Well guys, my Mom and Dad and my brother Jeff and his family live down there. Throw in the fact Samantha is an equestrian and she loves the horse ranches out there (dunnellon and Ocala) and let's face it....I'm doomed. I'll be down there without an AARP card! WTH?!?!?!?!!?
  21. I've got two fastcaps, one imperial and one flat metric that does a great job at layout. I really like my Milwaukee but despise the fact that it was made in China. I also have my American made fat Max that I absolutely love. Wish it had a magnet like my Milwaukee.
