  1. This will charge your XRP batteries but...go to Dewalt online. There is a safety recall on that charger. Chris
  2. I've actually heard good things about the Ryobi. I have the same size Skil with LED lights and I use for yard blades and the like. $30 is a good deal.
  3. Me too Javier, I bought five of them. But they shrink so up size!
  4. I've read that the power output is pretty low so charging cell phones and the like can take quite a while. Maybe nice to have while outdoors and it's in $30"
  5. Did you etch that yourself or is it a contact decal?
  6. If I were going to get a compact contractor saw, I would honestly get this. It is the standard price at HD and substantially higher on Amazon. I'm not interested in the contractor model as I want to dado wood and these aren't really designed for that.
  7. It's been out of service or rather not active since I've been on. I know Travis was looking into it. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before its up.
  8. Wow...the title threw me off...
  9. Yup...Ryobi stand, $59. Sliding support arms with material stops. $59 at HD online. At the store $99. I was going to get the bigger Dewalt stand and to be honest I probably will over the winter. When I do, m y Dewalt planer will go on this stand. Totally worth the cash though. $59 is cheap for a really solid stand.
  10. Sorry about the mess, but my shop is a freakin' abortion right now. I just got the Kapex mounted on a trimmed piece of 1/2" plywood. The saw itself is larger than the saw mount arms can take so I whipped up a quick stand for it. Now....have to move a ton of stuff around but suffice to say the stand is great for my little shop. The legs are not adjustable. The whole stand is steel and weighs about fifty pounds . Really solid construction and has stops for material. All in all super happy. Now I need some time to get everything moved around! On a side note my TS55 is the cats Az$. I love cutting sheet good with it. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f40/chriskelby/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-11/4C7DB742-3B1E-43F5-A136-8787DDE6A57C_zpsjmpj3k0t.jpg

  12. Well I for one have knife juggling monkeys floating around in inner Chris space so.....
  13. I'm not sure why but who really cares? There are guys that are new on the site posting upwards of thirty to fifty one sentence posts in a day and guys that have been here for a few years posting maybe once or twice a day, week or every few months. Is there really a reason to care? I know Travis put that 1000 post tool thing up but I really think that this site is about helping others and talking about everyday stuff.... Not to mention the ribbing and joking. I mean God knows I can dance and look good in chinos and an apron with Money ain't for Nothin' glasses but post counts mean crap
  14. Of course I believe everyone on this site is a tool nut. The full time contractors, the lawyers, back yard mechanics, firemen, doctors, teachers, garbage men, cops, students....yeah...were all frigged up. Guess I should see one too
  15. I'd go with the small Toughsystem box. I have one box from the line and that is it. It is actually quite large and I will more likely than not be converting that over to hand plane storage. PLENTY of room plus the lid compartment. Also I have a TStak two drawer unit that is $35 it is AWESOME! Modular storage is the way to go.... Lboxxes - 5 Tough system - 1 TStak - 1 Sustainers I-V - 15 Totally make my basement shop smooth and easy to clean.

    Back to basics

That is really cool. OSHA would have a friggin' cow....
  17. It almost sounds like ACDC playing....that is why Festool kicks butt. You Dewalt guys will be singing Koombaya and playing grab A$z! Seriously though...I'm really going to try to get there Regopit. Last year was Florida! This year....no Florida!
  18. Not really Chad, I'm still festooned with Milwaukee and I even have a couple of Ridgid tools. And guess what? My Green Ryobi miter saw stand came in today! I'll be setting my Kapex on it asap. Probably tonight. Awesome reviews for the stand and not 858 for the UG cart. Not the same but...Home Depot is Giving these things away at $59! And the reviews are great in this particular stand, it'll suit me fine in my little shop.
  19. I might no go Festool on this one. I might but...I like the Fein 350. Plus the Festool accessories will snap on it.
  20. Yup. Regopit and NER are right. First...the TS55REQ from my wife for Christmas. Now...? OF2000 Router OF1400 Router Ti15 Impact T15+3 C15 CXS ES125 RO90 Domino....yeah Baby MFT/3 Kapex Carvex Syslite 2 Midi's But then again, I have the tiniest Woodshop. Everything I have is completely mobile and dust control is really important. When I build my garage....then Sawstop and Bandsaw. I will have a few stationary tools. Until you try the system you just don't know. I used to think....no way. Stupid people. It's just a status thing. Not anymore. I'm middle class. I work for my money. I want quality. If you get the chance, try it out. Try the TS55 or 75 use the DC and your sold.
