Hey Mikey, I'll take a couple of pics of some of them but they are sprawled around my basement floor as I'm beginning framing of my new shop. Here's a link to my new posting and there's some pics on page 2 showing a couple of systainer stacks!
I still have the brushless Makita and though I'm not a big metal worker....AT ALL...I like the Makita a lot. Plus I cannot justify the purchase for something that gets very limited use.
Try Lee Valley too, they sell Veritas planes. I have several specialty planes from Veritas and Lie Nielsen and they both make wonderful tools based on the Stanley's as well as there own.
I did purchase a couple of Stanley handplanes on eBay but people ask outrageous prices for planes now. I bought a couple of beater planes, a 4 and 5 to recondition. One of those will go up for a giveaway here maybe of the spring or summer depending on when I get to it.
A hundred bucks wil get you a decent tool and an opening into an entire tool line if you opt to go cordless. Milwaukee, Ryobi, Ridgid, Dewalt, Makita and Bosch normally has a really nice compact 18v.
Also, welcome to the forum!
I would love to hear his thoughhts Mike, that's the perfect type of kit for a homeowner plus it's got a lifetime warranty. I haven't tried any of their hand tools out but they look pretty decent.
Yeah Buddy, my parents moved to Dunnellon (near Ocala) when my Dad retired from the Shipyard. My Mom told me they have already had some really cold days fairly recently.
Its actually pretty nice out right now, 32 on the nose but it's pretty breezy out. They official total for Farmington was 17" but I live going up Governors Ridge and we got maybe 22". I will tell you, having that plow on my Can Am has made a heck of a difference but between our home and my in laws, I was outside for over five hours this morning clearing up.
