Wow! What a difference...and I'm sure the little helpers pulled their weight!

My shop / storage shed. I need to put up a separate shed to park the motorized equipment so I have room in this shop....I just bought the house a year ago... <---- Tool Addict

You need a high res picutre to get all the details! I bet if you listed all the tools in there you would put the forum on TILT for the largest post.

I see concrete calculator....what about a general construction calculator?...can calculate paint requirements, fencing, tile, flooring, concrete...you get the idea.

As a DJ, I can appreciate people trying to nickel/dime scenario....never fun....like DR said....very rarely worth it unless there is no other option, which sometimes you have to pay rent!!! Chris....yikes!!!! I hope he paid well, and that is one job I've always questioned...but, that's life...

I know there is a wealth of knowledge/experience here...and I know we've all seen some stuff. The question is, what is the toughest/worst/grossest/hardest job or project you've encountered? The hardest I've ever worked was one spring/summer I worked for a guy who did foundations. I carried forms all day long....8' x 4' steel/wood forms, soaked with water, and coated in some kind of grease to let the concrete break away from the form when removing them....that was the hardest I've ever worked. I used to work for the County Highway Department, and had to pick up dead animals...we had a composting pile that needed to be maintained....STANK!!!! OMG!!! I just recently had to clean out my Koi pond at my house for the first time. This is my first Spring in the house...so, this will be yearly maintenance....the short story is I should have been on Dirty Jobs...and I fell a couple of times in the slimey, algae covered pond liner...stunk like a swamp...but got the job done. Again, the question is, what is the toughest/worst/grossest/hardest job or project you've encountered?

The guy above me is an idiot...he followed this thread, and just remembered this article, and info on variable speeds, and didn't think that we are discussing different tools here...what a dope!!!

I would have never guessed you could turn some junk looking wood into that!!

We built a few sections of fence this weekend at my buddy's house. We framed out some lattice with 1x3s, and stuck them to the posts. The little Craftsman circular saw came in good use on the door, as we needed it to cut out the lattice! We also used it a few times to shave some overhang from the lattice against our frame, as the lattice wasn't perfectly square...and neither were the 1x3s...lol. I didn't take any before pictures, and didn't snap a picture after the clean up...but you get the idea.

Wow...really didn't need that image!!!

And......DONE! She added her decorations. I'm just thankful that's over! It's tough working in small spaces...

Brandon, I agree. However, there are still 3 MONSTERS in my yard that will shed plenty! As as result, I'm going to take Conductor's advice, and start with the leaf sweeper. I do wish I had a justifiable excuse to get a tow behind leaf vacuum...but I don't have enough excess $$$, storage space, or open landscape to justify it....too many turns will make it more trouble than it's worth I think in my yard.

Just checked my local Lowes....still there at full price... AAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!
