What a job to have.

Back in October, I won the WORX/GT 3 in 1 Grass trimmer/Edger from TIA. I never got the chance to use it until today, I only used it as, and edger and I have to say I was impressed with it for only being 20V. I figured edging would put more strain on it them just trimming. Works says that you can use it as a Trimmer, Wheeled Edger, and a Min Mower. I edged around my both sides of my 125ft Driveway and both sides of my 30ft sidewalk. The GT had plenty of power it tore through the grass and dirt without any hesitation. It comes with one 20-volt Li-Ion battery and a charger, they say to let the battery charge for 12 hours for the first time be for you use it and a 3hr charge time after the first time. I would say I had about 30 minutes of run time without any power lost. It is lightweight (5.7 pounds) it uses 0.065” line and has a 12” cutting diameter. The GT is easy to maneuver around and to set up and use. Now the only thing I can compare it to is my Stihl FS 240 R that has a 37.7cc motor weighs in at 14.6 pounds and can use 0.065 - 0.130 diameter line. You really cannot compare the two from price to performance. If I lived in a town house or have a small yard to trim and edge this would be a good trimmer to have for $129.00 it is a good deal and you do not have the hassle of mixing gas & 2-cycle oil. Therefore, if you are in markets for a Trimmer give the WORX/GT a look.

I did get to try it and it was really nice. But to me a drill is a drill I like my Milwaukee it can drill a hole just as good as any other drill

I for one love my common man tools. If I was a full time cabinet maker of Furniture maker I would have a Domino. The festools that I have I thought long and hard about before I pulled the trigger. I think about what am I getting for the extra bucks and is this something I'm going to get my money's worth. So far they have proven to be worth the money and to make me money.

Like I said somewhat easier. When I gave my agent a price list he stated to tell me I over paid for my tools. I told him that's how I make my living I looked out the window and asked him if that was his BMW. He said yes it was he did a lot of driving to meet clients. So I told him you can do that on a moped but you choice not to just like my tools I can buy crap but I choose not to. They replaced them but it took some work.

This is a great idea for anybody that has a large amount of tools. I had my work trailer broken it to a few years ago and lucky for me the wife had video everything in side it made it some what easier to deal with the insurance company.

Or maybe it will make you want to buy the cart.

The TS 55 REQ is the way to go. You will never look back. Some people look at these tool as a Trophy for their tool collection but these tools are made to be used and to make the job easy and go faster. once you start to use Festool tools you will see what Chris and I are talking about.
