That room is done. I have the hallway, full bathroom and two bedrooms to gut. I'm not sure what I'm doing in the bathroom but the others will be striped back to the framing and walls set back to expose the beams, new hard wood flooring the list goes on and on.

I knew that this day was coming I have put this off as long as I can. I was sitting in my office going over some upcoming jobs and I can feel someone standing behind me. I turn around and there is the better half with that look. Let me give you some background before I tell you the rest of the story. The houses we live in belong to my wife before we got married. This beast was built in 1914 and by the time I got here it need a ton of work and we have rebuilt about 80% of this place, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms over the last ten years. The last project was our bedroom all that is left is a hallway, my office, bathroom, and a bedroom. So I ask is there something you want and then out it came you need to finish this place so we can move to the beach. I said ok but I have some jobs that I have to do and I have that surveying instruments class on Saturdays that starts next week and that runs until May. Her answer was that’s fine you can start then and don’t take any jobs till you finished. I guess I know what my spring and summer are going to be like. I have a friend that is a carver and he has the Lancelot and he was saying the it is hard to get a even depth on a dado. I have seen these thins in action and they can rip up some wood.

Frist off I’m not that old 56. Second we really don’t get that much snow we have gone 2 or 3 years with no snow. My wife said the same thing about having a heart attack then she goes on about having prostate surgery 8 months ago. After she was done with, her little speech I looked at her and said you should have told me shoveling snow would have given me prostate cancer I would have stop years ago. Her answer was stop being a dick and go shovel the freaken snow asshole. I love you too hon as I walked out the door. Also the boys always call to see if I want them to come over and clear the driveways and sidewalks. I’m just waiting for one of them to buy one, then I’ll have them come over and clear the snow while I watch.

No problem. Today I stopped by a place I deal with for cabinet hardware and what do I find out now they are a Festool dealer and the company rep was there setting up the display. The bad part is my accountant told me I have to start to buy some new equipment or something because I needs some tax right offs.

To remove the radiator you would have to shut your system down and drain it. It is not worth all of the work to remove that little bit of dry wall. Reach around the back and score it with a razor knife the find a scraper and slide it between the radiator and dry wall then pry on it it will brake a part easy.
