  1. My cat just brought me 2 full sized rabbits! The thing is nuts....I don't even like cats. I ended up with one because my wife and I wanted to surprise my in-laws for Christmas with a cat. Long story short...after 3 days we ended up with the devil cat. Pretty much stays outside and hunts all day. Comes back in the house when I leave for work at 5:30am
  2. You will be surprised of how much quicker the clothes will dry after you have properly cleaned vents. (Not that I really know....my lovely wife takes care of the laundry)
  3. I work at an institution for troubled youth. This one particular day this young lady decided to bite the inside of her mouth so badly that she started to bleed profusely. She then continued to spit the blood from her mouth all over the walls and floor! It looked like someone had been brutally murdered. Non of the other staff was willing to tackle the clean up job so........boom I volunteered. Definitely the grossest thing I have seen.
  4. Besides my gun I like to carry the Gerber MP600 Multitool. I seem to find a new use for it every day! Just wondering if/what you guys carry with you on a regular basis.
  5. Awesome work! I would be honored to loose my money at one of these cool tables!
  6. Its 5 0'clock somewhere! Makes me think of how excited I am for my Jamaican vacation I have planned for December!
  7. Awesome set up Mike!!! Its so hard to keep the garage clean!
  8. Dude I just found a helk of a deal too! Kinda unrelated to yours. I was at an auction for a hardware store going out of business and nothing caught my eye. So I thought I would scourer the neighborhood looking for garage sales. I found this guy selling a 1 yr old craftsman 28" snow blower going for $375, This guy was retired from the Ford Motor Company. I asked him why he would sell something brand new. He said Im filthy rich and I just want the latest and greatest. He even waxes all of his equipment I talked him down to $300 after I googled what a new one went for ($900). It starts every time on the first pull! Bring it IL Weather!!!
  9. Its like a brand new pair of shoes....for the first month or so you are constantly watching them for scuff marks. Maybe even licking you fingers to wife off some unwanted dirt. Until.....bam you don't give a crap anymore and you want to see what they can take. The marks and gouges on my tools tell the story that they have been used! Don't get careless....but use them like they were intended...to get dirty!
  10. My wife and I just bought a brand new Kia Optima (yes a Kia....it took me a while to give in) and the thing didn't even come with a spare tire! Just some fix a flat!!! lol
  11. Ive been waiting for a PC hammar....wonder how it hold up to the other brands! I feel a tool fight coming on.
  12. I would loose my head if it wasn't attached!
  13. If nothing else it would make a great defense weapon!
  14. Word....with the corrupt politicians here the bad business climate and the horrible weather... I think its time for a move. But I do love my Chicago Bears even though they did just lose to the Panthers. Jay Cutler you suck!!!!!
  15. Nice job! Usually the simplest designs often work the best!
  16. Im sure a few tears were shed during this project. What a tribute he would be very proud.
  17. Congrats Chris....marriage is awesome!
  18. My wife would have a nervous breakdown if she actually saw all of the hair she lost down the drain! Cool product
  19. DR99...I keep telling myself its not going to snow at all this winter in IL. Keeping some tow straps in the truck can keep you entertained on a snowy day. Pay it forward...pull someone out of the ditch this year!
  20. Hey TIA. Once a month at work I go through the entire facility and all of its various buildings to conduct safety checks as mandated by DCFS. This includes checking to make sure all fire extinguishers are charged and up to date, testing water temps (kitchen and bathrooms) changing air filters, replacing exit light bulbs ect. One of the jobs on the list is to clean the dryer vents. Why you ask? Because dryer fires are one of the most common sources of house fires in the U.S. Check out this awesome tool that helps me clean out your vents. Its basically lengths of 3ft hard plastic that can screw into each other with a brush on the end. Secure the tail end into your favorite drill and wholah! Clean vents and piece of mind.
  21. I don't keep that many either....luckily I haven't been in too many roadside emergency situations. Buuut I always think about it when I see the poor guy on the side of the road with his flashers on in the middle of winter trying to get his stock jack to get his car off the ground. Makes you wonder. I hear the Farmer's Almanac is saying the winter for the Midwest is supposed to be worse than last year. I don't see how that's possible.
  22. I don't know about DeWalt Hand tools. I think every company tries to expand to reach all types of markets.....but I think they need to put those dollars toward what they do best. POWER TOOLS!!!! Leave the market of hand tools to the companies that specialize in them like Klein, Channel Lock and Craftsman. I think the same think about Milwaukee....while their hand tools aren't bad....I just don't think of them as a hand tool company.
