  1. If they do, it will prob be 36v as that line is still available. Or maybe 40v with the new lawn equipment coming out.
  2. We'll see. It depends on what the date stamps are on the batteries.
  3. You need to take that Milwaukee junk over to another part of the forum. Hahaha. J/k. It has pretty good reviews and hasn't been recalled, so it's probably better than the first DEWALT version. http://professional-power-tool-guide.com/2011/02/milwaukee-subscanner-m12-cordless-detection-tool-review/
  4. That's a VERY good deal. The cheap laminate top ones are $179 at lowes.
  5. Couldn't hold it in any longer.... I found one on eBay CHEAP and it's being delivered today. I'll post some pics and maybe a video when it arrives.
  6. It's probably just a firmware update. The additional costs are from the labor to reload all the old units that were never sold. Along with trying to recoup some costs associated with the epic failure of units sold and RTV'd.
  7. You can expect to see more options for combos. Possibly more 3,4 & 5 tool combos.
  8. Lowes carries a nice Kreg box with a few hundred screws inside. Very nice pivot top.
  9. I prefer a cable saw when working in the dirt/mud.
  10. I contacted Dewalt and they don't know either.
  11. It looks like CPO is selling them currently. They're a bit more $$$ than the first version.

  13. No problem! Only issue I see is the angle to which it will clamp to your stock. 22.5 degrees is as far as it will go. So if you need to miter more than that, we'll have to come up with another option or modification. But with large stock like you're cutting, you can turn it to accept the 45 degree bevel you get from the saw.
  14. That link wouldn't work. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003E67ZI2/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1416337951&sr=8-1π=AC_SX200_QL40
  15. How about the Bora clamp fence? BORA 50-in Clamp Edge http://www.lowes.com/pd_352335-23796-540950_4294857952_4294937087_
  16. Damn. That sucks. Sorry to hear that. I was hoping it would work.
  17. I honestly feel they are better. Very easily switch from clamp to spreader. Seems like they are more heavy duty and more clamping power. I just used two this AM as spreaders to set a range hood. Very nice and smooth for precision movements to get the hood nice and level.
  18. I saw that on another photo. I have the 10 gallon dust collector as well as the adapter to connect to my little 20v vacuum if I didn't want to lug the big vac around.
  19. im sure it's been perfected. After the first failure, DeWalt wouldn't rush to release an updated version before they were 100% certain it would be a success. Just a few poor reviews will cause this version to be a failure as everyone will be skeptical.
  20. They're making room for the new higher ah batteries. 20v 5.0ah and 12v 2.0ah batteries. The new batteries are in stock up in top stock.
  21. I heard a Rumor that DeWalt may be shifting to more Lowes based. HD currently carries lots more variety of DeWalt from Tape Mesures and chalk lines to tools and tool boxes. I sure would like to see more DeWalt in Lowes.
  22. DCT419S1 is the new model number. Hopefully improved as well.
  23. If it's not available in the US, I want it even more now. Lol. I'm 0 for 2 so far on finding a source to ship to the U.S. or obtain one in the States.
  24. I really only need 120V in the trailer. I only plan on running some battery chargers & some LED flat panel lights in the trailer. Maybe a coffee maker and the occasional pancake compressor. I only have a 2000W inverter at this point along with a heavy gauge inverter wiring kit. Having the truck charge the battery isn't a necessity, but if that's easier and more economical, then I'd entertain the idea.
  25. Here's some more info on the Tool Link. http://www.thingmagic.com/applications-overview/toollink-by-dewalt/8-applications/40-toollink-by-dewalt%20class=home_splitcol_module
