  1. Couple more little things done today. I added a holder for my silicone etc and just mounted my level and square to the side of the shelving. Also had the factory fitted locks replaced with slamlocks
  2. that's actually the alarm keypad. He does have plumbing in place for heating etc. And it also has sensored velux roof windows that automatically close once it starts raining. He made great money during the building boom here in Ireland. If only them days would return
  3. Yes, he was with a stone mason that was doing a sign for the front of the main house when he spotted the faces the guy was making for another client and decided to get some made himself
  4. Did yous spot the faces in 3 of the granite stones?
  5. And it's hidden away at the back of his terrace house. No one would even know it's there
  6. Damn pictures going sideways. How do I upload pictures that don't need to be clicked on to enlarge, and believe it or not there is a workbench hid under all that stuff
  7. Thought I'd share some pics of the guy who thought me my trades workshop. I still do work for him alongside my own jobs. He's let it go recently, I'd love to get stuck into cleaning it for a couple days if only he'd pay me for it ha
  8. I can't see them ever using 18v for this purpose. Be cheaper to keep the guy moving the cords
  9. I agree with you all the way. Just I think a majority of people buying this will be just buying it for its drilling features and the chipping is just a bonus to have if there's ever that small job that you don't need to whip the big boy out for. I've got a Hitachi sds max that I will still turn to for any wall chasing, tile removing etc.
  10. I'm about to buy a new sds myself. Probably this or the dewalt brushless that also has chipping mode on it. To be honest I doubt I'd ever use such a small tool for anything more than a few minutes chipping. Seems like too much work for such a small tool
  11. I look forward to hearing about the sds as I'm currently in the market and was gonna get the dewalt dch274 bare tool but for the same price I could get the m12 fuel with 2 batteries and have access to another tool line
  12. Made a little more progress. Nice snug resting place for my mitre saw and accessories. I hinged the shelf above to make life easier lifting it in and out and also I kept the Base narrow so I can still put a 4x8 on the floor flat
  13. Realistically it needs to be something with blade of significant depth. I don't know, plunge saw maybe but then you've got ur track anyway.
  14. Can it be effective on any other tool.
  15. Is the m18 brushed? I'm a sucker for whatever is most current model. If that's the m12 fuel I'd go with that. From what I hear and believe the m12 fuels are not far from the performance of standard m18 brushed.
  16. I can vouch for the wera, I use there chisel driver screwdriver set and pozi impaktor bits. Both are great but can't compare to klein as I've never used
  17. Snorkeled on the great barrier reef 2 years back. Amazing it was, also tried it in Thailand but not so good.
  18. Is your gun not sinking ring shanked nails. I have this gun myself about 3 months and besides a few test shots I've had no use for it just yet. I'm hoping when the time comes it will sink ring shanks for me
  19. I checked with my supplier also. He said hopefully two more weeks but said dewalt Europe haven't even got any stock yet. I'm just looking for bare tool myself.I also can't wait to get it and be done with my shitty paslode that I have to play with to get working after every 5 nails
  20. Post to Ireland. Just kidding, great deal
  21. Multi tool all the way if you don't have it yet.
  22. I like the idea although ill probably never use it as I'm invested in dewalt and can honestly say I'll probably never use the Bluetooth battery either. Being able to disable the tool sounds great though, we will see thief's holding them to ransom now rather than selling them on
  23. Thanks Doodar, finding it difficult to find a review on this tool at all. Must not be hugely popular or maybe because it's relatively new.My main use for this will be 8-10mm holes into solid block walls with the occasional bigger size. I'm also building myself a collection of batteries so I'd be getting this bare tool. Might just order the new finish nailer too since its been a good week
  24. Has anyone used this yet and what's there experiences. Can't find one video review of it on YouTube. Thinking of purchasing it soon
  25. how do I tell what type my saw is. I only purchased 3 weeks back. Slide seems fine though but just curious to know the type
