  1. Found it today and got on for a minute before someone started bugging me... Didn't quite know how to navigate it.. I think I clicked browse, then searched for Milwaukee but it was pretty cluttered. Has anyone posted a how to for best ways to search using the HD interface?
  2. DR what do you say to ask to use the store computer?
  3. I've used the dewalt and like it. There will be dust though unless you get a festool.
  4. Those are awesome deals! I need to make friends with the HD employees..
  5. I also have the ryobi air strike and love it. I want the new 15ga ryobi but I think it's double the price...
  6. I would love a 1 year follow up review for everything! It would be tough to judge use though...
  7. I take a picture of the serial numbers...
  8. For woodworking and home diy I would suggest ryobi. It's cheaper than the main brands but good enough for you. Your main tool will be your table saw.
  9. I'd suggest a drill for your work but if you must have the quick swap bit holder just look for an impact driver with a clutch.
  10. Really? Do you have a link for confirmation? I've never heard that before..
  11. Great deal! I'm debating on which battery line I want to upgrade to and was between dewalt and Milwaukee.... I hadn't really considered Makita much but definitely should. These aren't brushless though... When I upgrade, should I go straight to brushless instead of a minor upgrade?
  12. Hey all, I'm from Georgia and am really excited to find this forum! I love tools and am getting into woodworking. On a teacher's salary though, I'm always looking for the best deals! I've gotten a few gems through yard sales and gifts but I am definitely envious of some of the tool porn I've seen here! Next up for me is a nice router and table saw. I have my eye on the dewalt dwe7491... One day!
  13. This system would look great in my garage!
  14. This looks great! I'm a fan of the 18ga.
  15. Do you definitely need a cordless circular saw? I'm not a fan of the ryobi cordless other than small jobs.
  16. Looks like a knockoff or rebranded dewalt...
  17. The Ryobi impact is my second favorite with the brad nailer being the fav. Impact driver was a gift that started me on the battery system a while back.
  18. I've used it and it's a good saw at this price point. I would suggest getting a freud diablo blade when you buy it (10 bucks) as the original blade isn't great. I think this is a great saw for normal cutting and ripping for a homeowner. It would be fine for demo of a deck or two as well. It's not contractor grade though. Personally, I use a Dewalt DWE575 and love it but it was a gift.
