  1. Based on the first pic, I'd agree but in looking at the second pic...that looks rather deep. Think he'd be there all day with 400 grit, just my opinion.
  2. That's good to know, I must admit that I don't keep up with school shop and professional woodworking tool useage...but it certainly makes sense that they'd use them. I guess my expectation is that this would be a must-have safety feature by now.
  3. Yeah but I expect it to drop under $75 in the next few months, clearance pricing on these started in June. Don't think they'll last for the next price drop but one can dream!
  4. Geez, it's $1.99 a gallon in Tampa, FL. It's no wonder why Europeans love their 3 and 4 cylinder diesels.
  5. I don't know, I've seen those before and they still get in the way for screwing.
  6. Face shield and safety glasses! Am looking for a used grinder and some ratchets, so I've been frequenting pawn shops...the amount of grinders I see with missing guards is astounding.
  7. Man, that is a great score! I don't really need a tape measure but I definitely wouldn't turn it down for a penny...actually wouldn't turn it down for $10. The magnetic feature would be very useful, I'm not sure why everyone hasn't been making one for years.
  8. Same here, love Milwaukee and was overjoyed to grab a Milwaukee meter. Pretty disappointed that the resistance is soo spotty, otherwise it's a good meter. I was checking speakers and two in spec, two tested bad and one was fluctuating...grabbed the Fluke and all speakers were right in spec. I was also having issues checking fuses(but that was easy to remedy by switching to Continuity).
  9. I'm the same way, now at 30, I think about the things I did in my early 20s at Sports Authority in the rafters and on the H-frames. Like strattling a corner gap, 20+ feet up, unharnessed pulling a stack of 6 canoes to make room. Luckily there was a nice pallet of dumbells to cushion my fall if I fell.
  10. Thanks, I have no idea what the cartoon thing that was coming up in my google search:
  11. It's always cheaper to mail something overweight than to have UPS hit you with the penalty for being under weight. 10lbs is excessive, 2-3lbs over is not uncommon but 10lbs?
  12. That's going to be beautiful. Are you planning on soldering filters(Capacitors) on for the tweeters? Probably not necessary but may help with audio quality for your highs, I personally would recommend.
  13. Clicked to find out what a clown drop is... then I googled it, still have no idea what it is.
  14. Very nice, that stain came out great!
  15. That is REALLY nice, good job! My Nephew would love that, he's obsessed with trains.
  16. I don't want to thread jack, I'm actually in the market for a pressure washer...but what make pool cue? Pics?!?! I've never done a custom pool cue but I have several medium to high-end pool cues. Kind of got out of the hobby, burnt myself out with weekly tournaments and such.
  17. Has anyone actually tried one? It seems like a really useful accessory but $30 + $10 shipping is too much for me to be a guinea pig. I'd be all over it for $20 + Prime shipping.
  18. Anyone up for testing the new Shokwave bits? I have really low expectations tbh. I still think I'll prefer Bosch bits.
  19. Good deal, hopefully they'll let you keep the 2ah hour batteries!
  20. My Grandfather was really good friends with Pete Rose, Lou Piniella and Hulk Hogan. One of my good friends is the Tampa Bay Lightning emergency goalie, he's practiced with several visiting teams when they have injured goalies for their morning skate. I am friends with the girl that Brett Favre texted his...you know the story. I know a few reporters, one former reporter turned HSN girl and a rising comedian...think the comedian has a show with Joe Rogan this weekend. I'm friends with Craig Ramsay's son, Craig played in the NHL and has an equally successful coaching career. I also know a girl married to Brandon Davis, a racecar driver. Most importantly, Emilio Estevez follows me on Twitter haha...but also seriously.
  21. After about a week of testing my Milwaukee meter, I decided that I made a bad choice in a backup meter...I should have bought a cheap used Fluke. I find it to be really inaccurate in reading resistance. Everything besides resistance seems to work well but everything is just not up to Fluke standards.
