Air pump = Tyre Inflator? More =
-
New power station has to be ‘up there’. I’d be all over a current-planer-sized brushless belt-sander. Will we ever see a 5” ROS like Makita’s? My other immediate wish-lists (T50 stapler, inflator, glue-gun) would move Dewalt to Ryobi territory and I don’t see that happening. If we’re talking la-la-land dreaming, how about a Bosch-beating Electric Bike, not one of those drill-powered units.

Cool. Does it have a fixed power cable or a figure-8 plug? Is it 110/220 or 110V only? Thanks!

Boys own one drill. Men own several.

Stanley has some cordless tools we have been waiting for from Dewalt

I’m liking the roller seat. Wonder if those castors are replaceable.....?

Some UK sites indicating a stock date of March 9th for the DCMW564: Ray Grahams Some nice shots of the European (18V XR branded) version on Tooled-Up £360 (US$488) for the bare tool though! Ouch!

Couple of sites in UK stating mid-February. Example: Ray Grahams

Fast? Yes. But I suggest you pre-order one of these for serious tool haulage:

I definitely don’t need it. But I do want it........

But you can clamp that laundry down. Much more manly and tough than using an ironing board. Grrr. .......wait! Flexvolt steam iron anyone?

12V Nicad? Think there's still a lack of clarity here.

Apologies for the noob question, I know the baby chainsaw has tool-free chain tensioning but can someone confirm what (if any) tools are needed to remove the entire bar? The manual isn’t 100% clear on this. I’m planning to pick up a couple of bare tools while I’m in Florida in December and breaking down the chainsaw will help me pack it into my luggage.

Ok, as we’ve drifted into the Twilight Zone, how about a 18/20V hard skin remover? If you cross Gollum with a rhino, you’d probably end up with something that resembled the soles of my feet so the new toy better have an extraction port too! I can live without a rafter hook on this one.

Yes. And yes.

That's a very helpful link. Thanks. But asking my buddy to act as a mule is ok. Asking him to negotiate with a pissed off TSA inspector is a favour too far! I'll have to time my next US visit with a similar deal.

You're telling me. I'd be paying nearly double that on Amazon UK. I ordered a pair as I have a friend over in Miami at the moment willing to carry them back to UK.........then I found out that all the airlines are limiting transportation of Li-Ion batteries to 160Wh (checked or carry-on). If it was me, I'd take the chance but I'd rather not ask my friend to run the TSA gauntlet so I cancelled the order.

2x 9Ah yellow tops currently $199 delivered on Amazon

Yes. But your local Dewalt service dept won't touch it (if that's a consideration)

With respect, instead of working your way through four power tool options, would it not have been more efficient to just use a hammer?
-
Can't remember the last time I bought a 'kit' when a bare tool option was available, so don't really see point of whining about crap chargers. If all the kits came with top-spec chargers, people would then complain at the subsequent price being OTT.

Virtually all 'cross head' screws are Posidriv in the UK trade. Philips is from the stone age. Phillips vs Posidriv
