Well I got a replacement Flexvolt 2/6 battery in the mail the other day and the packaging was kinda neat. Instead of using air filled plastic stuff they repurposed the carboard boxes DeWALT tools come in and shredded them to be used as a filler material.

@regopit could the homeowner get in trouble for that?

why does it need a new name? I take it I'm missing something here.

Anybody see the new app What Tools Inside? Toolpig advertised it. I don't have a new enough device to run it. I haven't been able to check it out other than the description on the app store.

Bosch will use 21700 in procore. With current tech the only option is bigger batteries but solid state batteries are in the near future. Supposedly smaller than Li ion with a bunch of other benefits. I wouldn't be surprised if they come within 10 years.

What company is using a brain adapter for their tools?

I heard the same about Makita but Milwaukee supposedly confirmed they will use the 21700 cells

The thumb screw on the base of the OF 1400 to lock the metal bars that come with the router kit is what I forgot to tighten.

Looks just like my Kreg K5 which I payed around $100 usd for so your getting a decent deal especially if that is $59 Canadian

This happened today. When I forget to lock the OF 1400 router to the guide rail adapter bad things happen. On a good note the bit, router, guide rail adapter, and most importantly myself were not damaged.

So some may know I am selling a new in box DCD575T2 flex circ saw and I got someone who posed some interest and asked what my bottom offer was. I didn't feel comfortable giving my bottom offer just to give me some room to negotiate. My listed offer was $350 which I thought was a good deal considering I payed around $380 for it. I don't know if this was a mistake or not but I forgot to look at the current retail price for the saw and noticed it has dropped to $300. I told him the story and politely asked if I could try a starting price at $300. He replied with a not so great reply involving swearing and basically said I can't charge $300. What should I do?
