  1. I knew about the wheel barrow and the 9 inch saw sounds doable but is the rider actually going to be a thing? will it be dual battery? Quad battery? Other?
  2. @77Ford So was this an event you gotta pay for or do you just sign up to go?
  3. @77Ford nice did you get any tools for the battery?
  4. What I was trying to say was when you turn the Makita on and the the Ridgid and set them on a flat surface the Ridgid will move around more than the Makita
  5. hows bout a flexvolt 3/9 but with the size of a 20v compact pack?
  6. Just about any line of modular storage system has its pros and cons when compared to other modular systems. I like aspects of just about any of the systems. Feature set, durability, quality, price, and customizability are all things different between the systems. There isn't really the "ideal" system.
  7. @77Ford battery and charger? They got those?
  8. My cousin had a chance to go to the Festool event this year in Indiana and gave me some goodies. Might have a chance to tag along next year with my cousin. He invited me to go next year. Got a Tanos and Festool product catalog. They are very nice quality. A nice binder talking about the dominos and the system. A pamphlet about SawStop and another pamphlet for Tanos. It was neat to look through them. Also had a Festool bag, Notepad, can holder, lanyard, measuring stick, pencil, and marker.
  9. One thing to note that this is just "wave one" of packout products. Milwaukee says more is to come. I'd expect some kind of drawer unit and tote when more packout is announced since they are some of the more common options.
  10. The cordless Makita is a nice option. less vibration than the ridgid. You could also look at the Festool OF1010. If I'm not mistaken it has the option to be installed in a router table. It is the size between the Festool trim router and OF1400.
  11. Solid state is supposed to be cheaper than Li-ion.
  12. This nailer uses a similar mechanic as Milwaukee battery nailers. Skips the fly wheel and uses some kind of air chamber mechanism. I wonder if it will have shooting issues like the Milwaukee nailers. Seems like it shoots well from videos I have seen.

    Utility knife

@Pouet my fatmax is pretty good. It is the dual blade version. Bostich also makes the same knife in a different color scheme. I like how I can have 2 blades at the ready.
  14. @Cr8ondt I was about to mention it but you beat me too it. seems odd the 2.0 slim is "premium" but the 3.0 slim is not.
  15. is the nicd / li-ion dual yellow charger fast as the flex fast charger?
  16. @JimboS1ice how you like your new saw?
  17. what I want is something I haven't seen far as i know on a jobsite vac. A powered brush attachment for one would be great especially for carpet. Could be easy to implement either power it off a tool actuated port or have it be cordless. I find jobsite vacs are garbage on carpet.
  18. I have been converting my garage into a small shop. I designed it so I could easily move things to make room for both of my parents vehicles when I am done working for the day. This is storage mode. The larger table was rebuilt to better fit my needs. was also out of square and is much better than it was. I usually pull out the larger table where I do most of the work. I use the clipboard for my notes and whatnot for the current project. Great for showing where to cut pieces out of the plywood. most of the stuff hanging on the wall is my dads stuff collected over the years. This is my miter station setup. The vac gets moved around between the tools. The open half of the miter station currently is being used for rough cut pieces for my current project. large clamps and small guide rails go on the wall. This is a shelf I built from scrap wood from when I rebuilt a work table previously in the garage. Stores smaller items and small clamps. it also is where I charge my batteries and my mom said I needed a clock which is more helpful than I thought. On the other half of the garage is where I have my various boxes. I also use my blower for cleanup. I got a few Festool boxes, a couple screw boxes which I changed the setup a bit to where i separated the large bins into one box and small bins into another box. I also have screws labeled with sizes and whatnot. I got a couple ds130's. one for my batteries and another to hold my recip saw and accessories. To the left of the systainer is the back wall where plywood and lumber is being stored. More boxes and my table saw setup. I made a dust catch thingy from scrap wood and cut a hole in the back to slide the vac hose through. I feel it does a decent job considering the vac hose is smaller in diameter than the saw's dust port. The ds400 houses extra chargers, kreg k5 jig, and a planer. The ds300 is my "work box". it holds my drill, impact, light, omt, screw/drill bits, and omt accessories. Not much else worth mentioning in it. the tstak holds my track saw.
  19. Packout looks nice except my other systems keep growing.
  20. just need a hoseless vacuum
  21. you could use it for nailing sill plates onto foundation?
  22. is there a forgoten tools channel?
  23. answer was pole hedge trimmer and 6 bay charger. What is the load capacity of the Packout wall rack?
  24. I cut all 4 sides to clean up the edge and square then up.
