@Jrhky36 did you see any with the drill instead of the impact? I seen there was supposed to be one.

@BMack37 That the gen 2 drill?
  3. yeah I'm sure any tool event would be fun. I might be going to the Festool one next year. That is if it is in the same location as this year. Would be my first tool event. I guess theres a local one that happens every year. My work sometimes goes. I haven't gone yet.
  4. The right way to do it is cover all walls/floors/ceilings of the work area with plastic to make the area air and water tight, setup an air purifier, wear a full body suit with respirator then go through a 3 stage entrance system to ensure no contaminants are leaked and theres also some kind of worker washing station too. Just information I got from a asbestos removal video I watched. I doubt my boss will wear any ppe but I heard plastic did go up. Far as I know we have no air cleaner and it is unlikely he would use one or go out and buy one. I passed by the jobsite today and didn't see his vehicle there which was good I hope. Most places probably require certification to legally remove it
  5. your supposed to be able to get a newsletter for recon stuff but I haven't figured out how to get it yet.

appears to be similar deals between Ridgid, Milwaukee, Makita, and Dewalt. one kit gets you one free tool. another kit gets you 2 free tools.

deal if you get the flexvolt drill/impact kit you can get various different combinations of 2 free things. 20v brushed grinder, xr OMT, 20v brushed circ saw, two pack 3.0 batteries, 20v brushed full size recip, 20v brushed vac, 20v brushed blower, 5.0 battery, 20v brushed cutout tool, The free stuff is old but still might be worth it just for 2 extra free batteries. There quite a few other kits with free items from DeWALT. Time to look at deals from other brands now.
  8. Will the new unit have more power? Haven't watched the video yet cause old phone.
  9. I haven't issues with brushed or brushless. I did have a battery issue once.
  10. maybe gaps around each cell for helping keep heat down
  11. around $200 or so. When compared to the 7.5, two 5.0's were about the same price. I only got one battery though. @bee-man
  12. I'm not doing it or any of the crew. Just the 70+ year old boss. Says it is ok for him to remove it because he is already old. Says closing off the room then wetting the insulation should be enough. Then he will double bag it. Apparently double bagging it is ok?
  13. 2400 watts out for the worm drive style saw. 1600 wats out for the blade right.
  14. Fabtech 2017 happening real soon. DeWALT is going.
  15. My boss is going to do something not so smart this weekend. he is going to remove some asbestos around a boiler. He's not gonna hire a certified asbestos remover. Just gonna do it himself.
  16. M12 is really the only 12v platform I see sticking around. I like 12v slide pack options but 12v stick packs are more compact.
  17. I knew that which is a pretty cool feature but I didn't know if there were any other advantages.
  18. Ima guess new fan charger.
  19. @dmz2084 each cell is individually wrapped to keep cooler. Like the procore the ego 9.0 is not out yet far as I know. It was just announced at GIE Expo 2017.
  20. I see articles about procore list the endurance as 10.5 amp/hr. Maybe there is both a 10.5 and a 12 @kornomaniac ?
  21. what about Starlock makes it better than Universal fit or other OMT connection systems?
  22. I'm thinking those half size packout organizers would be nice storage solution for a single m12 tool.
