    A good square?

I knew it was unavailable on woodpeckers since it was a one time tool but I thought maybe someone would be selling one elsewhere but I couldn't find any. I figured it would be a good option considering it is from woodpeckers. I may try a larger rafter/speed style square. My one for work is the smaller size. Empire has a 12in that looks nice. I wonder if my combination square would work?
  2. you could also get a 1/2 in chuck to put in your chuck. Something like this. https://www.ohiopowertool.com/p-6433-bosch-sds-plus-to-keyless-12-chuck-adaptor-ha3jaw.aspx?gclid=Cj0KCQjw8b_MBRDcARIsAKJE7lmbxgRiKw4OIwOkbNdZWiuHsw88vp4ScTVroHq0cbYsXEnknmV504EaAlqWEALw_wcB

    A good square?

woodpecker had a one time tool track square but it is hard to find and expensive. I may just have to use my tape measure, speed square, or framing square to get square.
  4. @dmz2084 Are you including models with different color options and is it all brushless impact drivers worldwide or all brushless impact drivers from one particular country? Are you taking into account different model number between countries for the same impact?
  5. @Framer joe appears to be only DeWALT according to Dan's receipt

    A good square?

I'm currently looking at buying a square for my DeWALT track and it appears as if the one from DeWALT is hard to come by. I seen one by Triton that looks like a copy of the DeWALT and claims to be compatible with DeWALT track. Is it any good or is there a better option?
  7. DeWALT Canada confirmed no unveilings of new stuff at Crankworx but new tools will be there. I just asked about the tough in the south event in Nashville since they said they will be covering the event but I haven't gotten a reply yet. I would hope there is unveilings of new stuff at tough in the south but I won't be surprised if it is just stuff we have already known about.
  8. what about having something where someone can't win twice in a row or something?
  9. Why are the automax better than the other version?
  10. For those who can't wait until the 17th there is a Canadian event happening now that may have some new products. If you follow DeWALT Canada you will get updates on it. It is called DeWALT Crankworx and is from August 11th-20th
  11. From what I've seen some cordless has the power but not the runtime. The Ego blowers for example have plenty of power except the runtime isn't great. I haven't tried higher demand tools like a trimmer or mower but I haven't heard many say much bad about the power of the higher end brands like Ego, Makita (x2), and DeWALT (40v and 60v) either.
  12. my shipping from cpo was free if I'm not mistaken. Also the rails were a lot cheaper from cpo than acme. I think home depot was similarly priced to acme.
  13. @BMack37 those diablo router bits good? How do they compare to say a Whiteside?
  14. Do you think in 10 years or so it will be equal or better than gas?
  15. @Framer joe Is that the on/off switch I see to the left of the made in the usa sticker? This compressor sure looks tough with the cage around the tank and whatnot. Have you tried to see if it fits on top of a tough system or tstak box?
  16. I personally am for the "must post x amount of post until you can see the giveaways section" just to keep spam down but I could see the other side of the coin where leaving it open to all will bring newbies in. Will UTB ever come back? Would UTB make a difference to what we decide? Another option is we could set it up to where you can see the section but can't post in that section until you have reached a certain amount of posts.
  17. No fumes and it's quiet too. you don't got the constant noise of a gas or diesel engine running in the background. Also less maintenance because no engine.
  18. I dont see it @midogrumpy. I just see 4 lights which all look like existing models.

    DCE400

not bad especially for a specialty tool.
  20. I think Marc got another Makita miter saw and might have been the new one that just released.
  21. I had heard the string trimmers were a bit cheap even for DeWALT. I wonder how EGO or Makita fair.
