  1. This is still available. I'm dropping the price to $550. Hopefully someone is interested. Wouldn't be a bad starter kit for those looking to get into the DeWALT line.
  2. maybe long as the screw will fit the DeWALT.
  3. The Paslodes are basically air in a way because they use a gas cartridge. I wonder if the next gen cordless nailers will be as powerful as air.
  4. haven't heard if the new rumored vacs are cordless or corded but I think DeWALT may be exploring tool activated features that work between vacs and cordless tools possibly using bluetooth. Possibly vacs with better filtration. I heard enough to be mdf compliant if that becomes a thing.
  5. At least right now air is faster and air nailers are smaller than their battery versions. And many guys probably either don't wanna upgrade every gun to batter or have a few guns they would like to keep air powered.
  6. @FlaveNico do these come in a shorts model? also what is the runtime on these?
  7. I have a cheapo from Menards. Don't wear it much but does the job I guess. I do like that it has the hammer hook towards the front and not at the back.
  8. would depend on the wood but Im sure for softer woods it would work great.
  9. I have been pleased with my Flex Torq set. Best bits I have ever used but I haven't used any of the good brands you have mentioned. Also probably the most expensive set I have used if you go by a per bit basis. Never broken any and they hardly wear at all and screws fit as great. Except I have never used any of the good brands you mentioned except maybe the Irwin or Kobalt. I have used many others like the older basic non impact DeWALTs, Masterforce, and various other brands that I would guess are in the cheap category. Masterforce are garbage, the Flex Torq are good in my opinion, and the rest I have used are meh. The new Bosch and Makita impact bits look nice. Might be worth trying. I wouldn't mind trying Felo or other German brands but the price is an arm and a leg.
  10. I'm hoping a cordless rear handle ros or ros/geared sander. Maybe a cordless router that accepts 1/2 in collet. thanks my best friend is a graphic designer and wanted to help me design a logo. It's not final but close to the final logo design

In the gen 2 DeWALT battery nailers the main focus should be size reduction and speed increase and still be reliable.

    New battery?

hadn't heard but sounds like a good idea.
  13. Everything is new in box. I am thinking starting at $600 for everything. If you are interested or have any questions just post a message here or send me a pm thanks. Included are: DCF887B DCD996B DS400 DCS575T2
  14. A DeWALT ds 130 or the smaller Milwaukee Packout organizer could be a good option for a k4 jig.

hmm... Maybe someone should create a screwgun that can screw as fast as a nailer can nail and include enough MORE POWA tm to work with framing screws. Would also have collated attachment so you could have strings of screws.
  16. that moment when a DeWALT cordless sander is announced next week then a cordless router the week after..
  17. S? Cubic Foot per Minute. Also is the DeWALT is 90 psi as well?

whats the estimated price on this tool?
  19. Metabo can be found easier overseas so I heard. I would hope it would be more common in North America sometime.
  20. looks nice. How does it compare to the Ridgid. Maybe more power? it appears like a bigger tank as well.

    Routers

wow thats the 3 horse model. Is it a bear because of how much power it has?
  22. Milwaukee has more tool options with more features but if you are looking for reliability then Bosch is the better option. Not sure if Makita is available in the uk but might be a good option to look into.
  23. Also depends on how much you use it. If you use them every day like @Framer joe you will have to service it more. If your like my work which hardly uses a battery nailer then you may never have to service it.
  24. Maybe these are a good idea of the general "best"? plumbing, electrical, hvac/r, mechanical: Milwaukee Runner-up: DeWALT general contractor, framer, roofer: DeWALT Runner-up: Makita woodworker, cabinet maker, furniture maker, finish guy: Festool Runner-up: Makita general contractor, framer, roofer on a budget: Ridgid Runner-up: Ryobi landscaper: EGO Runner-up: DeWalt Commercial jobs: Hilti Runner-up: Milwaukee Masonry, Concrete: Bosch Runner-up: Hilti Metal Working: Metabo Runner-up: Makita? or Bosch?
  25. What kind of wax to you guy use to reduce friction on the rails?
