  1. well apparently transfers to PayPal from my bank account take 3-5 business days to get accepted so looks like I will have to borrow my parent's credit card. I despise credit cards haha and Debit cards have a $500 per day limit.

    Upcoming event.

left blade is coming but will be worm/rear handle style instead of normal style. If it uses a worm drive mechanism or a similar mechanism to the rear handle x2 is unknown. A new vac is in the works that not only meets the silica requirements but exceeds those requirements to allow it to be adequate for mdf. I don't know if it will be the larger 8 and 10 gallon vacs or if it will be the smaller cordless vacs. Would be cool to see a full size 120v flexvolt vac that could also use the corded adapter.
  3. oh @ChrisK mentioned the dark side so I figured it was a star wars reference. But basically the good guy turns the bad guy into a good guy.
  4. Well I can't help you out much since my phone and tablet are not supported by one key app due to being old. from first impression of the DeWALT wifi router thingy it might be able to allow for multiple users to connect to each other. Wouldn't be surprised if it allows for shared inventories.
  5. haha more Milwaukee than everything else combined. Looks great. @KnarlyCarl ever thought about doing a tutorial of your inventory system?
  6. Theres the back of the shower. It appears as though the cast iron pipe for the shower drain is in concrete so if/when it needs replacing it will be a bear. Seems like the house has a mix of new and old plumbing. the large pipe to the right is part black pvc and part cast. It's the main waste pipe that leads to the sewer right? Not sure which side is the kitchen but its all pvc which is good. Was remodeled in 2014 I think. Also connected to the sprinklers I think. Not sure what the tiny copper pipe hanging on the 2x to the left is but it leads no where just a sealed end haha. new dcl050 represent. and a useless window under the deck haha.
  7. Think of it this way. Festool is Luke and SawStop is Vader/Anakin. Vader is bad then Luke helps Vader become good again.

    Upcoming event.

I wouldn't be surprised if electricity was as powerful as explosion fasteners. use similar mechanics as a rail gun and it should work just fine.

  11. remember wen we used to do the wen puns haha
  12. how does this compare to your festool track saw?
  13. I have two sisters so I know the feeling they are out of the house now so its just me and my parents. its just a shower. No tub. It is only used by me and my hair is short. I pulled the drain cover off and looked down the pipe with my dcl050 and just saw a bit of water at the bottom which I would guess is from a bend in the pipe. I can't think of what the bend is called at the moment. Also I think the pipe is cast iron. Probably original pipe from when the house was built in the 70's.
  14. So my house has 2 plumbing issues. my shower drain is running slow and the kitchen sink splaters water on the side without the disposal for a split second when the disposal switch is turned on. Sometimes if really bad it skips the "splater water for split second" and goes straight to "water rising up from the drain" @KnarlyCarl What is the best way to solve these two issues? I have heard both sides of the story on draino, liquid plumr, and the like. Some say it is safe for pipes others say it is bad for the pipes. I have heard there is "pipe safe versions" but don't know if it is actually safe. I personally have heard it clears some of the clog but not all of it. I have also heard it may increase the chances of future clogs. I have also heard plumbers are against these products. Some say call a plumber in to use a drain snake. Some say use the draino or plumr on small jobs and call a plumber on large jobs.
  15. I don't know much about compressor motors but sounds like that motor and pump should work. I would make sure you have a pressure gauge and safety valve. If you only use those tools from time to time would looking at Milwaukee's M18 offerings be a better option?
  16. nice. looks handy. Not sure how much I would use a bit holder.
  17. 60v makes more sense since worm style tend to be power focused.
  18. I didn't realize Factory Authorized was selling them. At least last I checked they weren't but thats good to know.
  19. appears as if only the bare tool is available. right now.
  20. Mike did a great job. I like how he explained why it is NOT a gimmick.
  21. haha I like you idea. make your 4 speed impact a 1 speed.
  22. is the rear handle 60v? @Hugh Jass Sounds like DeWALT is going to kill it again this year with the announcements at their event. Possible announcements: rear handle saw, new jigsaw or 2, 3 20v grinders, 7 in flexvolt grinder, fan, wheel barrow, and new vacs that may include tool connect. I have a feeling there may be a tough system charger and something to do with tilesaws.
