  1. @Framer joe you should do a review of the unit. I'm sure it would be great cause MORE POWA tm
  2. that moment when they find out you don't have a credit card
  3. could it be 60v because of the larger tank? @JakeDewalt
  4. No clue. The model number of the kit is DCS577T2 which would indicate 2 flexvolt 2/6 batteries but the grip appears to be a grip for 20v brushless tools.
  5. @Mattias Blomqvist if I remember correctly August 17th.
  6. its like 4 20v batteries would be my guess. maybe this will be flexvolt only?
  7. Well the $20 drain snake I got did the trick. The drill hookup was a nice feature. My shower drains great. I no longer have a pool of water when I take a shower.
  8. It only works if all 4 batteries have charge and only works with 4 batteries. Will not work with less than 4 batteries.
  9. @natbea09 have you looked at the new Bosch daredevil auger bits. I'm not sure how they compare price wise to the Irwin Speed Bore but in tests the Bosch cuts better.
  10. Carbide definitely has a premium over non carbide but is the extra life worth the extra cost?
  11. If I'm not mistaken it has a scoring feature but I could be wrong.

    DeWALT

Is it legal as long as you don't sell them?
  13. the dcf888 is new and should be available soon if not already. It's the 887 except includes tool connect. On another note I guess my statement about DeWALT trying to play catch up with Milwaukee is actually becoming a thing. With all these tools from the E/P/HVACR/M trades coming out.
  14. Anyone ever seen multitool blades with carbide? If there is no such thing, should they become a thing?
  15. @Hugh Jass my Integra blades arrived today. Seem like nice blades. I noticed when I was browsing the Integra selection to choose a set to order that the savings weren't as good as I remembered. I do have to admit I used that blade in the picture for plaster. It was quite tough on the blade.
  16. I was told something along the lines that its better to not be organized. I just see disorganization as a form of laziness.
  17. I figured I needed to replenish my supply of blades. One of my 2 blades started as a wood blade and now could be mistaken for a scraper blade. No more teeth left. At one time Amazon was selling a 400 piece Integra kit and it was a good deal if I remember correctly. I wonder who would need a set that big. Most of it was probably sand paper. I didn't see it this time.
  18. @midogrumpy In regards to the grinders there is rumored to be multiple models including at least 1 flexvolt. Also the jigsaw may or may not be coming in both d handle and barrel grips.
  19. maybe one like the hybrid Makita x2. corded or cordless. If DeWALT goes 120v flex they can just use the already existing corded power supply to make it corded for those who like corded.
  20. @DiverDn thats a great idea. I would either say a gift card, a tough system box, or a battery for their cordless power tools. Giftcards allow them to pick what they want but more storage is always nice to have for more tool storage and tough system is a great option because its modular. I don't know how many cordless power tools they got or how many batteries they got for them but as more and more things go cordless, more batteries will be needed. Seems like there are regular battery sales/deals for many of the popular tool brands. Might be able to find some for $100. Another option for 3 guys in their 20's is a nice home cooked meal. Hard to go wrong with food.
  21. I bought some Integra multitool blades. 16 for $26. $1.66 per blade. Seemed like a decent deal. I also got a cheap $22 drain snake. I think its a no name brand but reviews were good for the price. Figured I'm not a pro plumber so I didn't need a $200+ snake.
