    New Sander

so you got delta, soft round, and ridgid round?

    New Sander

I wonder if it is delta only or if a round version will be coming out as well
  4. Yesterday I got to use a Machete (apparently pronounced ma-shet). Today I got to learn how to use a floor sander. It was less exciting than I expected. It has built in dust collection which got my excited cause less cleanup. I found out it is garbage. Hardly picked up any dust. I also got to use a Bosch palm orbital sander with a vac connected to it which was a first. Dust collection was excellent with the orbital.
  5. now you just need 2 complete setups of packout haha.
  6. The surprise was Marc felt the DeWALT corded track saw had better cut quality than his Festool. This was only on the keeper piece though. Festool he said had a better cut on the offcut piece.
  7. New brushless impact wrench is coming.

    New Sander

A new sander is coming. It appears to be a palm sander but it is hybrid. You can either have cordless and hoseless or you can remove the battery and dust filter and attach a power cord and vac hose. Coming this fall.
  9. @Rammstein2609 the wood whisperer has done a review on the corded model and compared it to his Festool track saw and the results were surprising. The cordless version appears to be very similar to the corded model. I thought I seen another comparison of the Europe model flexvolt track saw vs a Festool. Might be worth a watch.
  10. You could try looking at the oil impulse Makita. Not sure how it compares to the Milwaukee.
  11. @Framer joe I'm guessing the 576 is the 575 flex circ saw but with track compatible base instead of standard base.
  12. So Bosch is coming out with a new modular storage system but not the kind you would expect. It is designed for holding bits. It's similar to what DeWALT and Milwaukee offer for their impact rated hex bits except not only can you buy bit kits with them you can buy the case and bit holders separately. I think Bosch is starting with 4 or so different bit holders, a large case, and a small case. What do you guys think? I had this idea awhile back for my DeWALT bit cases and I'm surprised Bosch is the one to do it.
  13. does the states or Canada have an e brochure?
  14. What about a ros/geared sander like Festool or Makita? According to Toolpig they will smoke a belt sander. I have never used a gear sander before but I have used a rear handle Bosch orbital at school and it was really nice to use.
  15. My Flexvolt track saw finally has a tracking number and Fedex estimates it will arrive on the 19th of July woohoo.
  16. I think Felder has a cnc option for the sliding table saw. I'm not sure how it functions but sounds automatic right?
  17. I just got the table saw from an acme tool 4th sale but wasn't as good as this price. Nice find.
  18. Funny thing is my track arrived but the saw has yet to ship haha. You will be pleasantly surprised to see how the track is shipped. The 59 in has a piece of sturdier material maybe 1/4 in mdf inside the cardboard box. I wasn't for sure what it was. For the 102 in track they outright skipped cardboard and surounded the track in the sturdier material. Was one of the better packing jobs from DeWALT I have seen. Unpacking the 102 in was a job in itself. You have to remove a bunch of staples holding the box together.
  19. Home Depot offers it and maybe one or 2 others. You ordered your flex track saw yet?
  20. I don't think I was joking far as I know haha but you mentioned finding the center. I was thinking center as in center point.
  21. @dwasifar so you have two to find diameter so they can cross and find center point?
  22. @Bremon actually the DCS520ST1 comes with a medium track but I'm not sure if it is an official kit since it is not listed on DeWALT's website. Also seems like very few stores offer it.
  23. at least $200 usd would be my guess
