  1. I have M18 Surge and the Feul Hammer drill, but I use this screw gun 90% of the time. It is just the right size and power for most applications. Interestingly enough I also got it because I had the Jacket first.
  2. I'll bite. I hate letting people borrow circular saws because the base plate/shoe can be damaged by someone who tosses it around or set the wrong materials on it.

    $599 Dewalt 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit (9-Tool)
  4. You don't hear much about Jet.com, but they have the brushless sub-compact for the same price as home depot plus a 15% off first order coupon so this may be worth a gander. https://jet.com/product/detail/48374d7776d84169b7e7a66a3c3bb9a3?jcmp=pla:ggl:a_nj_dur_gen_hardware_a1_b2:tools_tool_sets_power_tool_combo_sets_a1_other:na:PLA_649312290_30291403462_pla-161692778940:na:na:na:2&code=PLA15
  5. I see a use of the inflator as a good way to blow debris away from working surface/location.
  6. 1. My Great Grandpa was Basinger. 2. I saw a lot of brass. Do you use the many engineered plastic fittings?
  7. I have to agree with this. I have a new some Milwaukee Fuel tools, some new Ryobi, and 10-15 year old Makita. The Makita tools still work, but new Ryobi tools are just as good or better. Cordless tools are constantly changing and top of the line tools today won't be top of the line 5-7 years from now. Perhaps the most useful advise is what you think you will use/need and what you will actually use the most are often different. I have bought a Milwaukee Fuel tool before and barely used it where as I used the heck out of the a Ryobi tool that I thought would be used sparingly. For DIY/at home/ occasional use. I would invest in a quality brushless hammer drill, a quality reciprocating saw, and quality circular saw. The cut-off tool, impact, jigsaw, multi-tool, etc usually doesn't matter too much if they are brushless or DIY grade brushed.
  8. Blue tooth range is supposed to be up to 100 yards if sufficiently powered. However that is highly subject to a ton of conditions. It may work out at that length outdoors. I would consider going with some sort of GPS device. possibly https://www.amazon.com/Trackimo-TRKM002-GPS-Tracker-Locator/dp/B01CIDUK1U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1487265108&sr=8-2&keywords=trackimo\ That said, for $30 the tick might be worth a shot. If you don't find it good enough for the drone then slap it on a tool.
  9. Plus when I put it one my dog's collar I can say "she's always got a tick on her."
  10. I said that half jokingly, but in theory it would work. Milwaukee states you can put them on non-Milwaukee items. Check the example pic out
  11. Yeah I submitted a rebate in mid December and just received the battery two days ago. So apparently it takes some time.
  12. That said you could use the Ticks to locate any of your tools one-key or not. Or dog if attached to the collar. I'll stick one of the ticks in my kids shoe when we go to tailgating as well.
  13. https://www.worx.com/pegasus-work-table-sawhorse-wx051.html The saw horses and Pegasus work tables are cool. Their blowers seem to be decent. I pass on the power tools.

    Milwaukee SURGE

BTW I typically use the Fuel Drill for drill bits like the one above, but some times it is simply easier to carry around just the impact and throw bits in and out of it.

    Milwaukee SURGE

I actually won one. The Surge is definitely my favorite impact over the brushed one and corded one I have. The only thing I have noticed it struggles with was It did not struggle with My application has been mostly indoor fasteners for mounting tech/office equipment. The quieter action does make a difference in that setting. I have also used it for decking screw applications and it has preformed well.
  16. Speaking of Tape measures, anyone have one of these? https://www.amazon.com/QUICKDRAW-Self-Marking-Foot-Measure/dp/B01ECKOWQQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1462945286&sr=8-1&keywords=tape+measure
  17. Right, but that's $170 or more bucks I could be spending on a tool, when I already have 3 chargers.
  18. Yeah I would take it back and demand a refund. I also have one I would be willing to give away. A side note. You think the manufacturers would wise up and enable chargers to plug into each other and/or perhaps dock with each other. It would beat using 4 or more plugs on power strip.
  19. Not too crazy about the size at that price point, but I wonder where lawn mowers are headed. You think cordless pressure washer would have come first.
  20. Adjusting for inflation they are actually less expensive. Compare that to the price of coke/pepsi is 1999.
