FrosBros82 Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 I am posting a photo of a cordless Makita Hammer Drill Kit for $49.95. I don't have anything cordless that is Makita, so I was looking to get an opinion of it. Thanks, FB82 1 Quote
Tools & Stuff Posted March 22, 2017 Report Posted March 22, 2017 I wish I could get Makita deals like that where I live. Worth it just for the battery! Quote
JimboS1ice Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 Just the basic entry level brushed hammer, makita are usually solid tools even their brushed models, the battery may not have a fuel guard but shit go get another 18v drill for 50 bucks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1 Quote
noodeel Posted March 23, 2017 Report Posted March 23, 2017 Seems like a great deal... You won't go wrong with an 18v Makita. The brushed models have a 4-pole motor so they're very capable. If you are a regular user it'll do you fine... Heavy users benefit from brushless, but most won't notice the difference. I just picked up an 18v LXT Hammer Brushed Drill and it takes anything I can throw at it... Plus the 3ah batteries genuinely charge in 20 minutes. 1 Quote
FrosBros82 Posted March 23, 2017 Author Report Posted March 23, 2017 Thanks for the replies. I don't currently have anything Makita, however, I am usually not one to pass up a deal. FB82 1 Quote

Jronman Posted March 25, 2017 Report Posted March 25, 2017 why not buy many and ebay the extras that way it'll be like they payed you take take the drill off their hands. Quote
FrosBros82 Posted March 29, 2017 Author Report Posted March 29, 2017 Yeah, buying a case actually wouldn't be a bad investment! Getting into Makita is intriguing, as they have so much so in their 18v series.... even a coffee maker! Quote
