I like the Ridgid stuff. We buy a combo set as one of our door prizes at our Union local reunion dinner every year and It's almost always the first thing to go. If they'd have had a broader lineup I'd have probably went with Ridgid when I revamped my cordless line a couple years back. Can't wait to see the X5 line.

When I wanted to upgrade from my ryobi tools Ridgid was the first brand I bought, but I did end up taking it back because like you mentioned back then was the trim nailer and radio. Plus the trim nailer really wasn't that great from what I read. They just added lately a 18v jobmax powerhead and grinder over the past few months. I dunno why the who AEG line isn't sold as ridgid here they are the exact same tools except for the name they slap on it.
